Nov. 9-26, 2023. The major change will be in the casino where the current staircase down to Deck 2 will be removed to add more slots. We will be sailing on her in Dec. and look forward to more slots. I have found the casinos in the Pinnacle Class ships to be tiny so the additional space for slots will be welcomed.

In addition to the expansion of the casino, a library and Starlink will be installed as well as mechanical work. When I was on last week, this is as much detail as I was able to get.

We'll see what else changed when we're back on the 26th.

She looked to be in good shape. We didn't notice any frayed or stained carpet, etc and our cabin was in great condition.

Something was happening w/artwork deck 6 aft - these are all the same morning on our way to then back from breakfast. No idea why that one pic is upside down.20231109_071511.thumb.jpg.158e93f497032227a5c782709c0630a1.jpg20231109_112253.thumb.jpg.4b3f7092000a3b18337677768cffd906.jpg20231109_112344.thumb.jpg.a87ad572a38c9bc207901cea03594209.jpg

Any chance they replace the wine bar (Blend?) with the Half Moon Bar that occupies the same space on the Rotterdam? Have never seen anything happening at Blends but always find folks at the Half Moon Bar on the Rotterdam.

Chances are they were building a protective box over the artwork so that work activities (including moving things up and down stairs) won’t damage the artwork.  Just a guess…

That was by the elevators not the stairs, but could be - I didn't see what was next as we got off the ship and I didn't go to other decks to see if they were the same.

They might as well be removing the piano at the Ocean bar because they never used it. Used to love the jazz music in the evening there.  We were just on the NS last week.

Also need to get rid of Rudi’s because no one was ever in there. Way too expensive plus you have to pay extra for lobster. They had the staff outside asking cruisers in the Ocean bar to eat there.
