What a cluster.  On most land-based casinos, you play at a table, and within a few minutes of ending your play session, your tier points are added to your account.  On X, why is the host involved with the rating process at all if they're unable to adjust the ratings sent over to them electronically?

I know X removed the ability to use BCC deals at FCV and that FCV wasn't happy about that, sounds like X relented a little by letting some with offers book again which adds to the confusion

I wouldn't be caught dead playing table games on Celebrity. The rating system is a total mess and I simply don't trust it.

Just off APEX on Saturday....

Yes, program will be just like Royal and points earned dictate your "free" room.

I brought home a "free" concierge for 9K points earned. 15K will get you a "free" balcony/Aqua and 25K will get you the retreat.

No adjustment for longer cruises so will probably pick up the 25K over the holidays on the 11-night holiday cruise leaving the 22nd.

How far out does the current certificate go out to? I assume it's only good for the selected list of applicable sailings? Is there a cash value to apply for sailings other than the ones listed?

Just off the Eclipse and only play table games 99% of the time…..Based on the new rating system with certificates given at the end of the cruise I’d say they had things pretty good

I checked on what they had my average.bets at a few times per day and checked all week and it was correct…..I’d also check and keep a log of each session i played etc

At the end of the cruise i had a certificate for a Free Oceanview and choices for a Free balcony on some cruises if booked onboard

Plus only been home about 3 weeks and getting it’s of postcard mailers with comp offers

So all in all i’d say the new rating systems working……Just wish calling into Blue Chip was easier to book comp cruises that WERENT on the postcards

It's baffling to me why they snail mail you out postcards with a QR that directs you to your online offer but they don't also email these offers/QR codes.  The other issue is that a lot of the sailings run out of comped rooms

The certificate only good for cruises 6 months from issuance

Didn't even look at it, was trying www, HTTP, https, lol.  Thanks

No worries. Having said that even though it resembles the Casino Royale website putting in my spouse's CC # doesn't bring up all his offers like the way Casino Royale's site does. There's a drop-down menu that works if you put in the offer codes of emailed offers. It brings up the applicable sailings for that offer code.

Yup, I'm guessing they mirrored the CR site.  The good news is that you only need your Capt's Club # so if you are willing to check weekly, you can ignore all snail mail and email offers.  Also of note, seemingly inside-room offers do not qualify for trade-in values

I might try to see if I get better offers with my MGM affiliation rather than BCC.

That being said, the new site says this:

TO RECEIVE BLUE CHIP CLUB OFFERS, YOUR ACCOUNT WITH CELEBRITY CRUISES MUST MEET THE FOLLOW CRITERIA:

GAMING ACTIVITY MUST BE TRACKED ONBOARD USING YOUR SEAPASS CARD IN THE CASINO WHEN PLAYING TABLE GAMES AND/OR SLOT MACHINES. YOUR RECORDED GAMING ACTIVITY (RATING) IS THE BASIS TO CREATE OFFERS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GUEST TO ENSURE THEIR SEAPASS CARD IS ACTIVATED FOR RATINGS EACH TIME MACHINES OR GAMING TABLES ARE PLAYED.

YOUR CAPTAIN’S CLUB MARKETING PROFILE MUST BE FLAGGED YES TO RECEIVE COMMUNICATIONS FROM CELEBRITY CRUISES AND BLUE CHIP CLUB. WHEN OPTING OUT OF CELEBRITY CRUISES EMAILS, YOU ARE OPTING OUT OF ALL EMAIL INCLUDING BLUE CHIP CLUB COMMUNICATIONS. SHARED EMAIL ADDRESSES MAY RESTRICT OFFER RECEIPT. AN OFFER IS INTENDED AND CAN ONLY BE REDEEMED BY THE QUALIFIED GUEST STATED IN THE OFFER EVEN WHEN THE EMAIL RECIPIENT IS DIFFERENT.

BLUE CHIP CLUB OFFERS VARY DEPENDING ON GAMING HISTORY AND/OR TIER STATUS. SUSPENDED OFFERS MAY BE A RESULT OF, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, SAILINGS WITH NO GAMING ACTIVITY, NO SHOW STATUS, NUMBER OF FUTURE BOOKED VOYAGES OR NO SAIL STATUS. GUESTS GENERATING LESS THAN 1000 TIER CREDITS PER TRIP WILL NOT RECEIVE OFFERS AND MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A SPECIAL CASINO RATE WHEN BOOKING.

SPECIAL EVENT CRUISES, OTHER THAN BLUE CHIP CLUB TIER CRUISE EVENTS ARE OFFERED BASED ON THE GAMING CRITERIA SPECIFIC TO THE SHIP, SAIL DATE AND STATEROOM OFFER OF THE SPECIAL EVENT.

YOU MAY CONTACT BLUE CHIP CLUB RESERVATION CENTER, YOUR TRAVEL ADVISOR, PLAYER DEVELOPMENT HOST OR INDEPENDENT CASINO REPRESENTATIVE IF YOU NEED ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OR ASSISTANCE.

  • 3 months later...

Is anyone else having issues with the Blue Chip website?

Whenever I load the page up I get:

"THE INFORMATION PROVIDED DOES NOT MATCH ANY OF OUR CURRENTLY LOADED OFFERS. PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY TO REVIEW WITH A CASINO REPRESENTATIVE AT OUR TOLL FREE # 1 866 461 7170 OR VIA EMAIL AT BLUECHIPCLUB@CELEBRITY.COM."

This is before I've put any information in and this doesn't seem to change when I do put details in 😞
