Hi fellow CCers!!  Yes, it is time for another cruise with ninjacat123 and we (DH Craig and DDs Cat & Sky) are super excited about this upcoming five day cruise out of Port Canaveral.  If the weather cooperates, we will go to a favorite place the night before embarkation, Rikki Tiki Tavern.  Located at the end of Cocoa Beach pier it's a great place to have a drink and a nibble while you watch the surfers down below.  Because this venue is open air the weather is a big factor.  Craig and I tried last January before our cruise and it was closed due to wind.

We have not been to either AC or GT since before Restart.  Usually when in AC we do a 2 stop snorkeling cruise but it's sold out 😾 so we are trying something new to us.  Fricolandia!!  Even the name is exciting!  It's a beach club/restaurant about an hour drive away.  The pics remind me of Alice in Wonderland.  We shall find out!!

Our time in GT will be spent at Jack's Shack.  We have "set up camp" at Jack's Shack at least 4 if not 5 times when our ships have docked at GT.  Very chill, yummy jerk chicken and tasty drinks!  I have heard that new management has made the experience different (like not as good) but we shall see!

We'll follow along when we can as we'll be on the Celebration at the same time. We'll be in Amber Cove the day before you. Have a great cruise! 😃

Looking forward to your experience at Jack's Shack. Last year it was terrible bar service wise. Hopefully the new owners have addressed that, as it's been the major complaint even on Trip Advisor reviews. 😎

We have never sailed on Freedom but we have cruised on Liberty and Conquest which are all Conquest class so it should feel familiar. And if it doesn't, well we will have five days to figure Freedom out😉  Our first night I have made reservations at the Steakhouse for the four of us.  I know they have a free bottle of wine or you can purchase another bottle on their list at 50% off.  I'm hoping I can buy 5 bottles at 50% off but if not, we will get the wine package.  Craig and I usually get CHEERS! but this cruise with the girls we are not.  I figure we will be spending money at Jack's Shack and Fricolandia so it wouldn't be worth it for the other three days of the cruise.  And we are bringing on board at embarkation four bottles of sparkling wine so that should help as well.👍🍾

I know it will be different without Topher the beach dog (so cute watching him dig in the sand 😊) and it will be interesting if the new owners take heed of the negative reviews.  You know I'll be reporting my assessment to CC (and maybe on TripAdvisor as well) so future cruisers know what to expect.

I was able to get 10:00 - 10:30am check in for Embarkation on Monday, January 15.  This cruise, my DDs Cat and Sky will be Platinum!! Of course I'm more excited than they are 😉 but I know once they get their Free Play for the casino that will light a little fire under them.  Both Cat and Sky love to play roulette (yes Mommy introduced them to the evils of gambling🤑) so having some free money will be fun!  And less money that Mommy needs to stake them with🤣!
