Jim, I have the poolside cabana for my grandkid cruise coming up.  It did not show up in the excursions to purchase for a while after I booked.  I just kept looking.  Anyhoo, I'll let you know how we like it.

I have a layover in Atlanta before heading to Portland, so I have lunch. Where I meet someone that is also headed to Portland. We talk and I end up getting her number with an offer to stay in her home in Ireland. WHAT?

 

 

When I land in Portland, I am in the terminal that has some tile work done by my cousin’s company. Way to go Nancy!

 

 

I am happy to be home to the fur balls.

Post Cruise  -  (January 22nd)  -  Our day at Disney Springs. 

 

We were up around 7am to a cloudy and cool day. It’s 54 degrees now, and only going up to the high 60’s later. We won’t be wearing shorts today. Here is our view from outside our room. Not quite the same as on the Celebration……

 

 

 

 

This is the map of the hotel property. We are on the top (6th) floor of building 200, on the parking lot side…..

 

 

We are going to have breakfast at the Rosen Inn’s Fountainview Restaurant. It is a pretty extensive buffet. The cost is about $17/pp, including tax & tip…….

We head back to the room to get ready for the day, and that included taking our meds. A little after 10am we are out the door and heading to Disney Springs. It’s easy to get to, just follow the signs…..

 

 

 

 

When you reach the parking deck there is a sign telling you how many spaces are available on each level, including handicapped spaces. We always park on Level 2. Parking is free…..

 

 

Before entering the park you go through a metal detector, and any bags you bring with you are checked. These are the views upon exiting the parking deck…..

We have made it to The Boathouse Restaurant and Boutique…..

 

 

 

The Amphicars are lined up next door…..

 

 

 

 

 

 

It’s a little bit after 11am, so that means that the Boathouse is open! Patti signs me up for Husband Daycare so I’m assigned a seat, and given the first of many pear ciders that I will consume today……

 

 

 

Since the Boathouse just opened it is mostly empty, so Patti decides to take some pictures now. She starts with the outside seating and the Dockside Bar…..
