Yes, we always got a two top by the window without even asking. Savor and Taste and even The Manhattan dining room. Never had a wait either. We're doing Celebrity and Princess this year. Hoping for the same.

Regal Princess I would say is more similar to carnival. I was usually in a two top with booth/chair and another table 12 inches from me. Sometimes people would be in the next table sometimes they wouldn’t.

Greg, I followed your Jubilee review and now this one. I get the impression that Jubilee is all about standing in line waiting but not so much on Spirit. Is that the case?

Thanks.

I got the same thing on jubilee. “Do you have any local beers.” Oh yeah we have miller light, coors light, mich ultra. “No I mean beer from here.” Oh yeah we have parched pig Amber, ipa…

The old Alabama welcome menu had beer from Birmingham. When yesterday’s didn’t I figured they didn’t have any local beers in this ship anymore.

Yeah, VV wins the beer battle.

But I do love me amber pigs.

What a strange thing to be “complementary”.

Welcome to Mobile! Just started this so someone else may have beat me to the punch, but Moon Pies are traditionally thrown from the Mardi Gras floats in Mobile. Lots of smashed moon pies on the ground during parades. I don't live near there any more, but it was a fun time when I did.

The bars are really empty. Nobody on deck I'm assuming. Where is everyone? Is this the Flying Dutchman?

well when I was on deck the buffet was packed. It was hard to find a place to sit. People were even in there playing cards and stuff. Casino is packed. Comedy club was packed.

It’s really easy to get elevators on this ship. There were times yesterday when I normally would take the stairs but an elevator would open and 2 people would be in it’s so…why not? So I’m forcing myself to not use the elevator no matter what today. It’s still hard. I’m 1-2 decks from everything so I don’t get anything significant unless I got to lido and with this weather? That was really just lunch.

Hearing a rumor that the motor may be broken on the roof.

What I have heard is they won't close or open the roof while the ship is underway. Whether it is actually true or not is unknown.
