Grand Princess cabin C242 questions

I am finally booked for my next Princess cruise in May 2025 to Alaska. 
 

I am booked in C242 a forward balcony and just wondered anyone’s experience with forward balconies in Alaska. I usually book more midship, but this one fit into my requirements mor for this trip.

It will be a little rougher ride than midship but still a very nice cabin choice.

The Grand will not have midship/center stair cases up to Caribe deck.  It's either an elevator ride or use the forward staircases.

@Celandine...you've made the right choice as far as booking a balcony for an Alaskan cruise!  As far as it being a "rough ride"....Hmmm, we've done 3 Alaska sailings now and have not had any bad seas.  Of course, that *can* change on a moment's notice when speaking of the open ocean...but the majority of the time you're going to be fairly near the coastlines...I wouldn't worry about that.  (Just my 2 cents worth!)

I can't think of any issues with C242. Good choice to book a cat BE directly next to cat B2.

I would have a grand total of zero issues booking that cabin. Love the Caribe Deck balconies.
