@TravelBluebird...yikes 7 ships in port, not my idea of fun, but then I AM OLD and love being OLD!

I was worried but Passion Island definitely did NOT have excursions from all the ships!  Never felt crowded!

LOVE this beach!

More photos to follow! On way back

Also…need to warn everyone about the weird new digital disembarkation procedure where you pick either express (no assistance with luggage) or assisted luggage disembarkation in the Carnival app; 3 days before the end of the cruise.

Evidently Kyndall Fire made an announcement about it (no one in our group was out and about or opened our door to hear it) and then we got a pop up in the ship app about it.  When we finally looked at this in the app this evening, it said that ALL assisted time slots were taken and you could only pick Express!

I’m not lugging my giant suitcase all over the ship!  It seems ridiculous…too many people can NOT take all their luggage off the ship-old people, disabled, people with extra luggage…

We went to guest services and we now have the 9:45-10am disembarkation we wanted.

I must be mis-understanding the process somehow; the ship simply cannot put a cap on Assisted Luggage Disembarkation slots. I am going to attend the Disembarkation Talk on Friday to get more information.

This is what we now have in the app after talking with guest services:

Since you’re platinum, you should get luggage tags delivered to your cabin with instructions for priority debarkation. It’s a wrinkle they need to iron out. I did the app thing on jubilee because it kept giving me alerts. I ended up with two sets of tags. On Spirit I ignored the alerts for digital debarkation…one set of tags.

Yep @Saint Greg that is exactly what happened to us!  We just had our Group 2 tags delivered today. Everyone in our group who was either Platinum or in a Suite got priority tags. My son was in an interior;  no Priority tags for him (we gave him an extra one from the group).

Today was pretty much a whirlwind—we celebrated my Goddaughter’s birthday which was today, and it’s past 1am and I just got back to my room!

The short version is:

Got back from our excursions and diving.  I have more info and photos I want to pass on to y’all about that but it will have to wait till tomorrow.

Got a quick Street Eats, then sat on my balcony looking directly at the Carnival Breeze and watching for pier runners (LOTS of people got back to the ship past the All Aboard time, but just a few runners).

Then I needed to do my ship tours for my channel while everyone else rested. I used to think that I was the Energizer Bunny, then I met Kyndall Fire! 😂

Drinks at the Alchemy Bar tonight, then Farenheit 555 for a lovely (and caloric) dinner. Then I had to run up to Guest Services because somehow the print on my Sail & Sign Card got mostly melted away (smeared away?) during the excursion.

Then off to the Piano Bar!  Ben Gentry is hilarious and really knows how to work a crowd! I’m not a huge fan of the “Sweet Caroline//Piano Man” variety of Piano Bar players, and this guy is NOT that.  Knows how to work a crowd too. My Goddaughter was sung a  raunchy song for her birthday, and also actual Happy Birthday. We had fun.

Late Comedy Showcase was next, and unfortunately Dylan was ill so we only had Tim Young.

Then Casino for just a bit till bed.

YAWN. But sleeping in tomorrow!

Oh u are making me wish we had a balcony next week! U definitely utilize yours to the max! I hope I can see runners from our windows.

Passion island looks lovely! Have u been to paradise beach? If so, please compare. I'd love that twister boat if my neck can handle it.

well I haven’t seen them open yet—good question I will try to find out!

Someone on the book of face said they are working now.  Can you confirm?  We sail in a week, and I'm really hoping they work, as that was something I was really looking forward to.

LOL I have fat fingers when I type on my phone—iPad MUCH better.

And alcohol had NOTHING to do with it.  Absolutely nothing. 😂

And no, we did NOT win Ningo although we were 2 off for blackout.

First game won$600 second game won $900 and final game 4 split $1700

Thanks for the review and all the wonderful pictures. We’re on our way to Galveston right now. Can’t wait for you to hand off the ship tomorrow.

Enjoy!  She’s a beautiful ship.

I am sad my trip is almost over!

Thanks for a fun trip report.  So glad it went well for you and your family.

We board the Paradise tomorrow for a spring break cruise.  What were we thinking?

Since the grands elected not to go, it will just be hubby and me in our Grand Suite.

Right?  Cruises are like a box of chocolates—you never know what you are going to get! 😂

I’m going with the group’s flow—I get to cruise so often, only fair to go with the Group Gestalt!

I love this philosophy. We’ve booked our first ever family cruise for next February and I am really going to try to relax and let everyone enjoy it in their own way. And as an additional way of coping, we will be doing it B2B while the others are only doing the first 7 days. That should allow us to do anything we missed in the second week.

Are you sure it was the Breeze? I thought they were in Galveston on Thursday and at Sea Friday, Cozumel today? (Maybe my schedule is off)

No, you are right!  It was the Dream for sure! I mean, its right there in my photos!  There is a reason I don’t generally drink when I cruise and LIVE Blog! 🤷‍♀️
