Just caught up!  We were on Beyond last month and it will be interesting to hear your views!

 

Enjoy St. Marteen, it’s one of our favorite places and we go every January for 3 weeks!  If you are looking for jewelry, go see Jack at Majesty on Front St. And tell him Bonnie sent you!  A few blocks down from him on a side street is a little restaurant called The French Touch.  It is fabulous!  Have fun!

Totally surprised at the food based on your comments & food presentation. Shrimp cocktail looked like it was thrown together as an after thought. Salad didn't sound very good either.

I second your sentiment Oxo.  PinkSandGirl, am looking forward to reading about your daily adventures on the beautiful Beyond!  Sailed on her last year 2x and enjoyed the Retreat experience once we straightened out some service issues on our 1st sailing. 

 

Hopefully y'all will have the Captain Kate/Bug experience and share with us about it. 👱‍♀️  We sadly missed her on both sailings.

Let me tell you. This ship is really rocking.  It doesn't bother me but you feel it for sure.  Some in our group say no but when you see things swaying, I say...see!  😂

I would think they can be if they have the ingredients.   Maybe not all bars/bartenders.

Arghhhh....Rough Seas?  Myself, I enjoy the rocking experiences and rough seas.  Takes me back to the days of waterbeds and sleeping in sailboats overnight!

Lunch both days. Oceanview Cafe. Day 2 was British theme.  Day 3 was French. 

 

Late night pizza Day 2.

Room is creaking more.  My mom and dad's is creaking big time - he just said. He said it before I even asked. 😆

 

Again, it doesn't bother me but some rooms do in fact make noise...especially with the ship moving the way it is right now.

I know why this ship feels like we're on a ride.  Went out on the balcony. Wow!   The white caps and waves and waves coming as we sail through.  Crazy!   It made me a little scared that I came back in.  I love being out there and it doesn't scare me but seeing the waves come up higher and the boat rocking and the deck being a bit slippery, I needed to come in.
