I get it.  But once you do it you will be hooked.

I was in a grand suite on Carnival Legend and Cloud9 on Radiance. I wouldn’t pay more than a 20% premium for the first or 10 for the second.

I believe I actually paid more for my half of the grand suite than a solo balcony room would have cost.

I’m talking people I’ve talked to extensively. It’s only about 5 or 6 people/couples. All casino.

And on top of that I’ve heard a lot of people complaining about drinks on us this cruise. So I know all of those people are casino. They say it’s too hard to get a drink in the casino. Which I believe since there is no casino bar.

No stairwell dwellers this morning.

I’ll have a parfait then smoked salmon benedict. Coffee with full fat cream. Be right there.

I need to figure out when the right time to buy is. A year ago I was waiting on it to go under 12 and it shot up over 20. If I’m willing to wait until after my next cruise with them, I have 9 months to figure it out before the next one after that. I know I’m going to get it all back in OBC so at some point it makes sense.

One plate again. It’s their new thing. I did appreciate that they put my grits in a bowl instead of dumping them on top.

this is eggs Benedict which comes with brunch potatoes and I ordered a side of bacon and hash browns. I didn’t ask for crispy bacon for two reasons. Yesterday I got turkey bacon that way. And other days it’s been so crispy that at least half of it has been inedible. Today I just asked for regular bacon and it came crispy and edible.

It sounds like you enjoyed NCL enough that you’ve booked a couple more cruises. That’s good to hear since I’ve booked my first NCL cruise for 2025.

Yeah I have Jewel, Encore, Prima, and Epic booked. I also have two of their $500 cruise first certificates that I paid $250 for. So that means I’ll be booking at least two more.

Looking at one out of Boston. I’ve been holding off on Canada/New England since Carnival stopped going to Boston. But other lines use it as a home port so that’s on my list.

I want to do an Alaska on one of their larger ships out of Seattle that stops in Sitka. So that’s on my list.

And they seem to be rotating the new ships through Galveston so I’ve got Prima next year. 2026 Viva is in Galveston so I’m looking at that as well. It’ll be nice to check out all of the new ships without having to fly to Florida.

With HC rooms, it is way more about the experience than the cabin.

Sitka is one interesting place.  You are really spreading the time with other lines.  Enjoy.

I’m a free agent. But a year from now it’s all NCL right now. There is a RCL I’m looking at…and I want to work Princess in. Im anticipating my next carnival booking being when the new ships come out. 2027…hit celebration key at the same time.
