5/26/24: Annoying Cruise Critic Pop-Up Ad

Anyone else getting the below Cruise Critic pop-up ad?  It keeps popping up every 60 seconds, so annoying!  This started happening a few days go, anyone know how to stop it???

I use Stands (extension?) on our desktop to block pop-ups. Haven't had any ads here.

I complained a couple months ago. Even signed up thinking it would stop. NOPE!!

It isn't as bad as it used to be. But still very annoying.

I recommend AdBlock+. Never seen an ad on CC.

Do you have block pop ups set?

I have it set on my iphone, but doesn’t stop all of these, because we’re on the actual website.  Grrr

Only happening on our PC.  And I have two pop-up ad blockers applied.  🤷‍♂️

I’ve seen it and it’s because that ad is on the site we are using.  I use my iphone.  
It is annoying. 
Try Chrome, open browser,

click more settings, privacy and settings, click pop ups,

Under allowed to send popups and redirects…find the site…to the right of the site…click more blocks.

 

Haven’t tried on my pc.  But worth a shot.

Did that, still happening...  Looking into AdBlock+

Android, Chrome: Settings, Site Settings, Pop-ups and redirects. Should be blocked.

 

 

If not tap Pop-ups and redirects and toggle off the setting.
