Everyone on the Liberty last month was wonderful ... thanks for making it such a great cruise for us! :) Y'all deserve far more than you ever get, i'm sure! :)

 

OK, found my notes ... specific thanks to (all from the Liberty):

 

Megan in the Salon, who made my hair look more glorious than i thought possible! :D

 

Harold & Mitzie at the Versailles Pool Bar, who kept us supplied with tasty foo foo drinks for me & Bass for DH

 

Przemek, an incredibly talented pianist ... this guy plays beautifully on a piano that is on a rotating stage, while the ship is rocking & bouncing at high seas, and he never misses a note!!!

 

Zsuzsanna (sp?), who enjoyed teasing us about how many photos we bought, after having to cajole DH into letting her take the embarkation photo!

 

There were many others who were exceptional, but these five stood out well above the rest, & we thank you again for making it such a fantabulous vacation!

Absolutely!! Thanks so much to everyone. There's really no vacation you can go on where you get soooo spoiled and feel so special! It really makes the time relaxing and I always miss you guys after I leave. Plus, you all give up time with your families to wait on us...thanks a million!!

A thank you to all of the wonderful crewmembers who do so much to make sure we all get to have fun!

From the room stewards who keep us clean, to the dining staff that keeps us fed, the engineering crew for getting us where we are going, and even the poor guys I always see cleaning the glass on the stairways every night trying to keep things shiny and new, and of course special thanks to all the travelling bar staff for always delivering the drinks, even to those of us sunning on the F-deck!

I went on my first cruise Thanksgiving weekend on the Sensation out of Port Canaveral. The one thing that I remember most is the crew. You guys are the ones that made the difference !!!!!!!

We have always made friends with the crew, it's so interesting to hear about their lives. We never had a bad steward or dining team. We always had favorite bartenders in different parts of the ship. Thanks for all your smiles and thanks for the outstanding service that makes the cruise vacation the only way to travel!:)

Great idea for a thread!

 

I just got married on the Glory a few weeks ago and my wedding was perfect all because of the hard work of the staff!

 

Nicoleta was an amazing photographer, Wayan was our awesome waiter, Ivan was the best bar waiter ever, and Bernard was a fantastic room steward. There were so many more and I'm sorry I don't know their names!

 

I never once passed a Carnival employee who didn't smile and say hello. As hard as they work, they never show their fatigue on the outside.

 

Thanks so much Glory Staff! You made our wedding cruise memorable and despite the other thousands of people on board we felt special!

Special thanks to the crew on the Victory whom made things so wonderful they had us coming back for another cruise this year, and for the Valor staff, who just solidified how great all the ships staffs are that we booke three more...LOL :p

Yes!! Everyone onboard the Liberty's 10/10 cruise was wonderful, too, and to borrow from heatheranne...The Gavin Ahearn Trio (The Cabinet), Chris, Gavin and Christian with Zack and Mike a few times; Roy, The Cabinet's tender of the bar :) ; Marcin and the classical trio; and yes, Przemek's magic on the "Ivories"; Christopher Alan Graves (A Tribute to Frank & Sammy); Iris, fav purser; Nanka in the Golden Olympian, and her assistant whose name starts with an "A" (sorry, "A"); Lloyd, the maitre'd; the cabin steward who kept the cabin lovely (I wasn't a messy one, tho' :) ) AND everyone who smiled, greeted me sometimes by name even...those who kept the entire ship lovely. And while I'm at it, thanks to other passengers who helped make a lovely cruise even lovelier...a fun group while we waited at JFK and most especially, two special onboard ladies who are now fav email and future travel pals. :):)

I was on the Inspiration in January '06 with my mom and daughter. I just have to say that Bobby (Catelin) and Joel in the Mardi Gras dining room helped make our cruise the best. Bobby took such good care of my mom and was SO funny! Quite the dancer, too!

 

Thanks, too, to the crew of the Miracle (my first cruise) and the rest of the Inspiration bunch...our steward was Mohammed and he was awesome, too!:D

OK folks, with all the people that are loyal Carnival cruisers, we can do better then this. We need to show how much we enjoy all the people that work so hard to wait on us hand and foot during our cruises.

 

They greet us everyday with a big smile and a hearty "Good Morning."

I wanted to send a letter to Carnival to say thanks to a certain employee for the care and consideration they have shown. Does anyone know the specific address and who I should send it to so that this employee gets the feedback from the Carnival Company? Thanks for the help.

I just returned from the Sensation 4 hours ago and would like to send a huge thank you to Htun Thien who was our bar service guy that tirelessly brought numerous buckets of beer for me and several DOTDs to my DW on the F-Deck. Our cabin steward Sylvia and her assistant kept our suite spotless, and Elizabeth our dining room server was wonderful. Beautiful clean ship and wonderful friendly staff!!! Thank you!! The lido deck and veranda deck were so packed with people, it was great to have the F-Deck as a quiet retreat.

Thank you to all the Carnival workers-although we don't meet everybody, it is well know that you are all important to the success of our vacation, whether you are up front or behind the scenes. I know that there are some crew members that check these boards and I would like to thank them for everything they do to make our vacations that much better. I have seen several shows on the Travel Channel on the behind the scenes of the cruise ships, this make me just want to give a SHOUT OUT to all the crew members. A special thank you to these crew member that made our trip on the Glory that much special!

A million thanks to the crew of the Triumph & the Fantasy. I can't begin to say enough about how well the crew took care of us. Every day began & ended with a smile from each & every crew member we encountered. No where else on vacation have we ever been treated so well. Again thank you all.:D :D

We went on our first cruise Sept. 3 on the Conquest. We loved it so much that as soon as we got home, we began the process to book another one. We went on the 2nd cruise last week, Nov. 26, same cruise, same ship. I think it is a huge compliment to the Conquest's crew that we enjoyed our cruise that much. We were a little disappointed that some of our favorite crew members had left between our first and 2nd cruises. (including the Cruise Director) However, we enjoyed the new crew members just as much as the ones on the first cruise.

 

We'd like to single out the waiters Marius and MeHai for special thanks. They made our dining experience fun! We'd also like to thank those talented dancers, who do a fabulous job at each show. We LOVE the Conquest crew!

The crew is honestly one of the top reasons I love to cruise. I have never had a dining staff that was less than top notch...I still remember the waiters from my Tropicale and Carnivale cruises and I was 5 years old!

A big shout out to EVERY crew member on the Pride - you all are the best!

Hey Becka, DH and I had the pleasure of enjoying your hilarious Bingo games during our FIRST Cruise on the Liberty in Jan 2006. C;mon Becka.....lol Oooooohhhh noooooo Becka.... :p We didn't win but had a great time anyways.

 

We recently came back from a HAL cruise and the Bingo crew were BORING. No wait, down right ANNOYING. We didn't even play. :cool:

 

Needless to say, Carnival is our next cruise. :D
