Back from the Glory and must give kudos out to Pongsak & Radka who served us well, entertained us, and kept our boys going. We were at table 146.

Francisco and Epstein, our room stewards were exceptional as well.

Camp Carnival counselors were all fabulous.

Every crew member was always helpful whenever we needed them.

Wonderful job and our hats are off to the Carnival Glory crew!

We sailed on Valor BTB Dec 10 and 17, 2 full weeks on the same ship. We requested the same table in the Lincoln Dining Room after the first week because we believed that the service we got in week one could not be matched by anyone else. Thats how good the service was, especially Our waiter John and Mohammed. No request was too much and they were only too eager to please. The hostess Galina was also very helpful and we got to know her well after two weeks. No other line could surpass the service we got for the whole two weeks. each night was as good as the last. Keep it up

Just got off the Victory last week and want to thank all the staff.

Our waiter William was from the Philippines and had 3 children. When we asked about his family there were tears in his eyes. During the day William would be working in the buffet area and in the eve serving dinner.

The crew works hard. I know their living quarters are not the greatest. I know they must get very lonely especially at night. My heart goes out to them.

So thanks William. Thanks to Jeffrey his assistant. They both took good care of us.

Thanks to the waiters who danced on the tables after dinner each night and were just so entertaining. We all looked forward to it.

Francisco our steward seemed to have a little communication issue but he always smiled at us and our needs were met from extra buckets of ice for bottled water to getting clothes pressed for formal night.

I realize their hard work makes our cruise go so well.

I will never take their efforts for granted.

I made sure to mention them on the comment cards at disembarkment and give them extra tips.

Bless them all...

My turn to offer thanks to the awesome Carnival crew members... let's hear it for the crew of the PARADISE!!! CD Michael Mullane is a sweetheart and keeps the activities rolling, Jimmy in photography never mocked me for my obsession with getting good photos, and we had excellent service from the wait staff in the lounges.

But I would be remiss if I didn't offer enduring, heartfelt thanks to ALEKSANDAR FROM CROATIA, our head waiter. He was truly the highlight of our cruise. Before my cruise I would have thought it was really strange to hear someone say that, but after the trip I know that excellent service from a waiter or steward can make a tremendous difference in the cruise experience.

Everything about Aleksandar was stellar - his recommendations were spot-on, he remembered all our preferences, his understanding of dining etiquette was perfect. But more than any of those, he was delightful to talk to and a wealth of information. I so enjoyed his stories!

Many many thanks to the crew of the Paradise, particularly Aleksandar. See you all again in the spring!

In an effort to help keep this thread alive, I hope it's okay to post for a crew member I am looking for here. On the Triumph in October 2004, Nestor Garavito from Columbia was our Team Head Waiter. It was the first time my family of three adult children and four grandchildren were on a cruise ship. Nestor was unbelieveably kind to all of us. From teaching the grand kids which fork was which in a formal setting, cutting their steaks, treating all of us like royalty, anticipating everything from drinks to who wanted extra dessert and entertaining us above and beyond. When my husband became very ill and couldn't attend dinner, Nestor would bring me a warm plate with a special dinner for him as we left the dining room each night. When he saw us on other decks, he always inquired how he was doing and talked to the kids, asking how their day was. And it wasn't just us, he touched everyone in his care the same way. The last night he gave the younger ones stuffed animals and a signed card. We will be on the Glory the end of February and these same kids are asking me if there's any chance we will meet up with him again. I don't know, do you??????

We were on the Glory for New Year's. Our waitstaff was the best ever!!! ZOLTAN ("Z") from Slovakia and GABOR ("G") from Hungary were so enjoyable that we cancelled our reservations for the supper club the last evening. They were a hoot!! Funny, attentive, polite, and pretty darned cute, too boot! Thanks, "Z" and "G"!!!

When we cruised on the Glory in September 2006 Ida and Zhenya were truly 'Outstanding' and I am sure two of Carnival's 'Very' Best!!! We could not have had any better service from anyone any nicer then these two fine people!!! Thanks to both Ida and Zhenya for helping to make our cruise so special!!! Our Cabin Number was 1112 on the Spa Deck.

On Victory 01/14 and have to thank Alberto our steward....he was fantasntic. He was from the Philipines (sorry I can't spell) and hubby knows some of their language so said good morning everyday. He was always happy to see us with a "Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening Kurt & Kim". He always made us feel special.

Oana, our hostess in the upper Pacific dining room was amazing too. She always had such a sweet smile for us. There was also a bartender by the casino but for the life of me I can't remember his name...starts with a "D" I remember that much.

All of the staff on our sailing was fantastic...wish I was there now! :)

Is someone going to eventually forward these posts to Carnival? Or at least let the CDs on each ship know that this thread is out there.

I think it would be a great moral boost for these guys to actually see it in print.

I want to say thank you to all the crew members too. I am a policeman and am used to serving others, so it is nice to be pampered on my 1 week per year. Well... my wife does pamper me the pther 51 weeks in the year, but..... hey.... I WORK HARD!!!!!!!!! lol. Anyway, it is kinda embarrasing at times. I know some of the crew members say to themselves... "Man, that boy can DRINK. My feet are tired from all this running back and forth to the bar. Can't he sit a little closer!!!???" With that being said.................. THANKS CARNIVAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D
