If anyone is having trouble with including a Webshots pictures in your post, I have made a procedure with pictures that is a little clearer than text alone. If you want, I can post it or email it to you.

Would love if you could post that for me (and everyone else?)....thanks!;)

Posting Pictures

Open Cruise Critic and go to the Board/Forum you want. Click on "Post Reply" or "New Thread" The message box will appear. Type in some text in the message box showing information about the picture you are about to post . Then Open a new tab for Internet Explorer.

(1) Go to Webshots.com

(2) If you want to use one of your own photos and haven't registered on Webshots.com, do this now. Click on "Upload". Then Click on "Join Webshots Now". Fill in the required info. Click on the "Join Now FREE button. Then after doing the email click that Webshots sends you, upload your photos.

(3) Find the photo you wish to use and click on it. For example: in the "Search" box (lower left), type in Carnival Inspiration Cabin M298. Then click on "Go Get It"

(4) Several pictures will appear (hopefully), choose the one you want. For example: Cabin M298_171.

(5) When the picture appears (it takes awhile, so be patient), go to the right hand side menu

(6) About 1/2 way down the right hand side there is a box titled - "Link to it" Click on it. (See Figure 1)

So that's it. If it works for you, tell me. If it doesn't or the procedure needs changes, tell me also.

I am glad it worked for you. Before I retired, I worked for Medtronic (heart pacemakers other health devices) and a great portion of my job was creating procedures. I really believe that a picture is worth a thousand words (but then my procedures are pretty wordy also!) Wish I could get a part-time job creating procedures - love writing and editing!

Hi everyone. Host Sheila just told me about this wonderful forum. I didn't know it existed.:rolleyes: I have another easy way to upload pictures some of you might want to try.

I use http://tinypic.com for my uploads. It's really easy.

Open the tinypic program;

Click on Browse and find the saved file on your computer for the picture you want to display.

Go to the drop down box called Resize. There are 3 sizes that work well.

1) Message Board (640x480)

2) 15" Screen (800x600) I use this one

3) 17" Screen (1040x768)

Select Upload Now. A new screen will appear.

Under Share this Image

Copy "Image code for forums & message boards" and paste it into the thread you want your picture in.

I hope you find this useful.

 • First of all see how much space you have in the post body of your blogger template. For example in our blog it is (currently) about 570px.
 • Leave some space, say 20px, for padding etc. Now the available size for image is about 550px.
 • Now, Go to Layout » Edit html and find this:

]]></b:skin>

 • Add these below lines before the above line:

img {

max-width:
550
px;

width: expression(this.width >
550
?
550
: true);

}

Change the value of red number according to the layout and available space in your blogger template.

However if you already img{ tag in your template, then only add the below lines

max-width:
550
px;

width: expression(this.width >
550
?
550
: true);

 • Save the changes.
 • Now, while doing your posts, upload the images normally like you did previously. Once the image is uploaded, go to Edit html tab, and the image code will look something like this:
