Sandie Posted August 10, 2008 #1206 Share Posted August 10, 2008 This is the link to Andreas Depping's website. http://www.depping-design.de:80/test/thumbnails.php?album=88 I think you can see the cabin numbers on the deck plans for the larger balcony cabins. If you don't have a brochure, check Celebrity's website for the deck plans. They appear to be 1A cabins on Continental (6211,6212,6214,6215,6236,6237,6238,6239), Sunrise (7217,7219,7262,7264,7241,7243,7286,7288), Vista (8255,8257,8228,8230,8279,8281,8252,8254) and Panorama decks (9211,9215,9264,9266,9237,9239,9292,9294). There seem to be two 2A cabins on Vista deck only that have larger balconies - 8259 and 8232. On Sky deck it appears that there are two C1 cabins on each side(1243,1245,1120,1122) and two AQ class cabins on each side on the Penthouse Deck (1603,1605,1608,1610. There are probably two CS cabins on Sky Deck with a larger balcony, too - 1233 and 1110. These are my best guesses from looking at the deck plans with a maginifier, so I could certainly be wrong on this. Sandie

Conrycol Posted August 10, 2008 #1211 Share Posted August 10, 2008 I have a question about the windows in the Family Veranda's. The cabin is at the front of the boat and in addition to the sliding glass door, there are two large picture windows in the main room and then in the main bedroom. They look like they can open up. Does anyone know if they can?
Dinotoll Posted August 10, 2008 #1212 Share Posted August 10, 2008 The Miracle about the chimneys. the assembly hall was just to small to fit them. They will be fitted with big crane on monday and waiting at the quayside.
Rare hcat Posted August 10, 2008 #1213 Share Posted August 10, 2008 Dinotoll Much thanks for the pics & link to the pics by Andreas. They are all truly amazing. Looks like it was a very popular & succesful event--how long did the process take? I was able to spot where both of our cabins will be for two diff cruises & am very happy with our choices. Both are on deck 9. One is a 1A on the front angled side of the midships "hump" . The other is on the flat part in front of the hump--there is another cutout area toward the bridge--hope that won't block any views.. Looks like a great ship--Keep the photos coming... can't wait to see interior photos!
dmk Posted August 10, 2008 #1214 Share Posted August 10, 2008 Dinotol, beautiful beautiful pictures! Thank you! Sandie, do you mean to say that all the cabins that you listed have larger balconies? From the pictures, I only see 2 per floor. What am I missing?
dmk Posted August 11, 2008 #1215 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Okay, I feel so stupid. I didn't look at the cabins toward the front. I was only looking at the hump cabins. I wish I had a brochure.

Sandie Sandie, I'm also hoping that the aft C1's are larger too ~ I picked #2152 (Resort Deck) for my sailing! Even if they're not, I love the view!! margden Posted August 11, 2008 #1219 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Hi Everyone, My wife and I were planning to sail on Solstice next Sept7 on a Med cruise. I was looking at one of the forward cabins on the ship. Since we were going to sign in the Aquaclass cabins I noticed the fitness facilities and Spa were directly above the PH deck on the ship. Anyone know if we would be experiencing any noise from above? I understand that the Aquaclass cabins are only on the PH deck. Is there a location on the PH deck which would be more advantageous over another? We have sailed 3 times before and aren't affected by any rocking of the ship..thanx for the help everyone;)

We have sailed 3 times before and aren't affected by any rocking of the ship..thanx for the help everyone;) We chose a forward cabin under the hair salon and our friends chose under the accupuncture. Those should not be noisy areas. We thought of choosing toward the back but the front made more sense to us as we will be closer to the AQ relaxation room and we'll be close to the spa and Persian Garden, which our cabins include.
