InTheWASide Posted October 6, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2007 On that note... anyone know WHERE the drydock is in Victoria? We were all over town on the Oosterdam cruise and I never saw her... Anyone that MAY know, care to include a map and point it out?
bcscot Posted October 6, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 6, 2007 The ships go to the Naval Dockyard in Esquimalt, to the west of Victoria. I have watched the Ryndam dock there before, but it is very hard to get close enough for any sort of view because of the Navy security.

Rare LAFFNVEGAS Posted October 6, 2007 #16 Share Posted October 6, 2007 She's due in Vancouver tomorrow to begin a repositioning cruise to San Diego. Yes, she leaves Victoria this afternnoon and will be sailing out and about for the crew and will arrive in Vancouver tomorrow morning. I cannot help but think that had we not done the 2nd Noordam cruise last month we would have flown to Vancouver this morning, checked into the Fairmont and been sailing on the Ryndam tomorrow in cabin 023. But actually I am very happy that we returned to the Noordam, we have already sailed the Ryndam 2 times and having the chance to do one more Noordam was wonderful. Too bad we could not have done both:D
