Our Cruise on Carnival Miracle sucks

Sorry you didn't have a good time. I think that noise issue would have driven me nuts. I've had great cruises on CCL and some so-so ones. Although no cruise really sucked, I was still able to have a good time.

My favorite part is the sophisticated title from the 'retired' person. I am assuming of course that 'retired' places them in an age bracket of a more educated nature when it comes to the use of adjectives. Perhaps next time you can try 'Carnival Miracle is Unpleasant'?

Can we here more about your experience on the Spirit or perhaps one of your Princess cruises?

And on another note there is a smoke-free casino located right here in Bangor!

Love folks that their first posts are nothing but negativity. BTW how did their friends hear the noise but it didn't wake them up.

I think I got that part.. what I think he meant to say was "friends heard the noise but it didn't KEEP them awake. Like my husband who could hear world war three but roll over and go back to sleep compared to me who hears wind whistling and I am done for the night.

Good Morning all , :)

I just returned from the Miracle on its Southern route to St. Martin , St. Lucia And St. Kitts. It cruised out of Fll on Feb. 27th.

As far as everyone in my group and most others, it was the best cruise ever. A little cool to start, but you cant blame carnival for the weather.

Great crew, friendly and there when needed. I will post a review later, but dont cancel your cruises on the Miracle based on this posters advise.

Later, Ev

OP why all the lies? Did you have a romantic interlude with a member of the crew and now regret it?

This is what I don't get, why are they all lies? Every complaint she had does not sound made up to me. But since they never posted before they are automatically a troll? I never understand this mentality that anyone who had a bad time and posts here has to be a troll.

My last two Carnival cruises have been charters and when they announce that we'll be on Carnival the following year, so many people boo. When we get home and I read the message boards for our charter, there would be several people with valid complaints about lack of service etc. Didn't happen to me, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Everyone IS entitled to their own opinions and shouldn't be chastised for having one. As the saying goes you can please some of the people . . . . With that being said we are super excited to be sailing on this ship in September and can't wait to formulate our own opinions. It must really s**k however to have a miserable vacation :(

It seems there are people who start off negative and feel it is necessary to think of, and write down, and report every little thing they can think of to justify their negativity.

They want to keep all that negativity in their mind and build a list of all the bad things. They can't let go of it.

It seems this is a surefire way to have a lousy time on vacation.

We all have experienced less than perfect situations on cruises or vacations. Don't let the bad feelings take control over your emotions.

It's better to keep a positive outlook and look for the good experiences and focus on those.

You'll have a much better time.

Abigail 2008 I agree with you. This ship is horrible the only difference however is I will more than likely cruise Carnival again just keep with the larger ships. This ship is way to crowded, the Cruise Director stinks, and our food was horrible. With that being said I would not let this ruin my cruise. It just did not make is as great as my first two were.

Hey guys, just a thought, but do you think the "scraping sound" could have been the anchor lowering? I've heard it many times when our staterooms were on lower decks and it makes a definite, loud scraping sound. The timing sounds right too.. 5am. Of course this theory doesn't answer any question of the OP's reported dealings with the purser's desk on the matter, but lets face it, the purser's desk is not really known for giving out definitive answers on these types of things, more like giving any answer to get the complainer out of their faces. Which, considering some of the complaints I've personally witnessed while standing in line at the purser's desk and some of the stuff people come up with on CC, I really don't blame the purser's desk for trying to say anything to get them to "just go away".

abigail 2008, if your not a troll, then you might want to come back on and answer some of the questions. Anyone who posts a controversial first post, then never comes back can pretty much expect to be discounted. Come back on and tell us how you liked the itinerary, how was your room steward, embarkation and debarkation, any good excursions, etc. We're waiting to hear from you.:)
