Angeljt, thank you for the 903 pics.

Radio, thank you for posting often and sharing your beautiful pics. I'm glad your next cruise will be 8 days. One more day to share the cruise with you.

I leave Sept. 26 for Canada/New England cruise and board 9/27. When do you leave for your Sept. cruise? Which ship?

Our family are leaving from Philly Aug 30 on the Magesty. When the grandkids are here I will pull up your pictures to show them. I guess the lighthouse was still ( closed ) Last year , Oct , we took the bus to the light house and only found out after getting there that it was closed for repairs. We had an hour to wait before getting the bus again.

Hello everyone. . .We are almost home. We went under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge by 630AM. We just went under the Key Bridge at about 730AM, and should be tied up at the dock by 8AM.

The first call for Express Walk Off passengers should be by 830AM.

I am driving home, so there is no rush for me to get off of the ship quickly.

I might have a chance to try to take a few pics of other cabins.

Many more pics later today. . .

Radio,

Thank-you so much for taking the time to post your "Live" report. I followed your report on the Westerdam earlier this year and couldn't help but come over to the NCL board to follow your trip here. We are booked on the Majesty out of Philadelphia on her Canadian/NE itinerary this fall so I followed this thread with great interest. I had never thought about going to Bermuda on a cruise since the idea of staying there for 3 days kind of put me off. But thanks to you I think I'll be taking a cruise to Bermuda next year. :D You really eased my mind about things to do there since I am not a "beach" person.

I'm sure my request is too late but did you happen to get a picture of the casino? Mom is interested in the size of it and the variety of slot machines.

Welcome home and thanks again for taking us along for the ride.

Oh...by the way, NCL should buy that sunset photo from you to use on their brochures. It is perfect!!!

Thanks Radio. I have enjoyed all your posts and your great pictures. Helped me relive our cruise to Bermuda in June 2007. We have passed over the twin Chesapeake Bay spans many times but your pics were the first I have seen from under the bridges. Looking forward to your next set of pictures and your review of the cruise. BTW, that sunset picture was gorgeous.

Hello everyone ! We made it . . .

We tied up at about 8:30AM (scheduled time was 8AM)

The Customs agents just came on board, and we should be cleared soon.

Express debarkation should begin by 9AM. I expect to be off by 1030AM.

I have just a short ride home, so I will stop at Starbucks on the way !

(I need a good cup!)

I have a lot of Menu’s and Freestyle Daily’s to scan, and a review to write but that will take a couple of days.

It has been a pleasure for me to post this “LIVE” Report. I love to cruise and I love to post “LIVE” reports. When I first started cruising, I wished that someone was doing this.

Thanks to everyone for their positive, and supportive comments. When I get home, I will read through the posts and try to answer any questions that I missed.

I will have my pics loaded soon. . .They can be found here.

This was a great vacation !

Thanks for tuning in. . .

Can't wait to see your report and the rest of the pictures you took. It gets me excited for my cruise on August 30th out of Philly to Bermuda on the Majesty. I learned alot from your posts and will continue to learn more by the time we sail Labor Day weekend. I thank you for your time and effort on your cruise and I say this for all the others who also appreciated the time you took. Hope you have a safe trip home and we all await your final post and pictures from this cruise.

I had never thought about going to Bermuda on a cruise since the idea of staying there for 3 days kind of put me off.

Your post made me smile! :) Most people who have been to Bermuda seem to have the other complaint, especially on the 5 day itinerary, and even on the 7... 2, 3 or even 4 days in Bermuda is hardly enough to get a start! You will find many repeat visitors to this most beautiful island!

I can't remember when I've enjoyed someone else's cruise this much...

You did a great job, Radio! That last sunset picture was perfect.

Thank you for all of your time and sharing...

I thought the longer Bermuda stay was fantastic, and we're 'sea day' people. It was very relaxing and no rush to get back to ship to leave for the next port. I would do it again in a minute.....

Glad you had a wonderful cruise.

Welcome home! :D

Radio, many thanks for your live posts. I hope we get to sail together some day, I'd love to buy you a drink and chat a while.

You've set the bar pretty high, I don't know if I'll post when we sail in three weeks. Perhaps, we'll see.

You're a mighty fine photographer, you have an eye for it. I loved the picture you took between the Bay Bridge spans. The picture of last night's sunset is now the desktop on both of our computers.

What I'm feeling right now is ambivalence: the opposite emotions of sadness and regret at vicariously leaving Bermuda, steaming home, and your cruise being over. . . and the jumping-up-and-down-on-the-inside joy of boarding the Majesty ourselves a week from today!!

Radio, you are not only an absolutely amazing photographer, you tell us the stuff all cruisers want to know! An A-first class photo journalist of the highest caliber!

Love your website. Please figure out a way to provide an RSS feed so we can subscribe to your updates! I love cruising with you!! Almost 15,000 page views on CC alone, guy!! WOW!!

An even more grateful Sue

P.S. It doesn't look like they had the ramp up and running yet that you mentioned for embarkation . . .?

P.P.S. I can't even wrap my mind around 15,000 page views. That's waaaaaay better than being the most popular boy in high school, y'know? ;)

Umm...she was never called the Crown Majesty..only the Royal Majesty of Majesty Cruise Line. And that photo is of the former Crown Majesty (a totally different ship....originally the Crown Dynasty now sailing as Fred Olsen's Braemar)

NCL bought the Majesty and the Crown from other cruise lines I think. The first year she sailed as NCL Majesty was (I think) 1997.

My best "LIVE" post was in Jan 2008 when I did a "LIVE" from the Liberty of the Seas. . . .

The Majesty used Deck 2 FWD ,and Deck 2 MID Gangways. . .for debarkation. . It seemed to be going very smooth .

Thanks again. . .

More pics, scans, and review coming soon. . .

Radio.............Thanks for taking us along on your cruise this week. We've enjoyed your comments and pictures............

We were on the Majesty for NYE, and we thought the crew was the friendliest we have ever encountered. I don't miss the rough seas of the Atlantic, though. Again......Thanks for taking the time to take us along with you..............
