BoopTennis Posted June 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2017 If one books a future cruise using a Future Cruise Credit, then before the final payment due, when you are still in the period where there are no cancellation fees, if you cancel that cruise and book another can you move your Future Cruise Credit (with OBC) over to a different booking? or is it gone? thank you
cheeseclan Posted June 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2017 Yes you can move the FCC over to the new booking. You will get OBC but it depends on the new bookings length of cruise etc.

JF - retired RRT Posted June 19, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 19, 2017 We do it all the time...DH can't make his mind up. No cruise that we've booked is safe until we are in the penalty phase.;p
chamima Posted June 19, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 19, 2017 (edited) In theory you should get the FCC back. Unfortunately that has NOT been our experience! (To be clear - we didn't lose the deposit money. We got a check in the mail But I had been clear that I wanted the FCC reinstated, NOT the refund) Edited June 19, 2017 by chamima

We got a check in the mail But I had been clear that I wanted the FCC reinstated, NOT the refund) This has not been our experience. Our experience has been: Cancel a cruise with a refundable deposit, the FCD is redeposited into our accounts. Cancel a cruise with a refundable deposit and re-book another or re-book under a different promo, the FCD's are used or transferred over if you like that term better. Cancel a cruise with a non-refundable deposit and re-book the same cruise using a better promo, our T.A. has been able to get Princess to re-apply the FCD's. Cancel a cruise with a non-refundable deposit with no re-booking, we have not done this but expect we would lose our FDC's.
