racenut Posted September 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2017 Hi all! This will be my 11th cruise but my first non-spring/summer cruise! We will travel to Key West, Honduras and Mexico. I'm accustomed to packing summer dresses and shorts. Any wardrobe advice? Many thanks!!

Daisyloo Posted September 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2017 We cruise at that time of year often. I would pack summer clothes. It will be "summer" weather in the Caribbean.
frangran Posted September 7, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2017 I agree about summer clothes -- but do bring one outfit that's a bit warmer. Pants & short sleeve top & windbreaker. We've hit an unexpected cold/rainy spell once or twice at that time of year.
Rare Keith1010 Posted September 10, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2017 I agree with frangran. Once in awhile there actually can be a cold front that hits this area. We check the forecast a few days before we leave and that is when we fine-tune last minute items that we take. Weather is not always the same there year over year as it is often not the same year over year where most of us live. Keith
shellunderwater Posted September 10, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 10, 2017 We sailed from FL on a similar itinerary. Caribbean was toasty warm, but FL was nice, but a bit chilly compared. Agree with frangran....something a touch warmer to wear. Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app
Lucy Jane Posted September 10, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 10, 2017 It might be warm when you dock in Key West but the wind might make it a but chilly. Take a sweat shirt or jacket and you will be ok. Sent from my iPad using Forums
6rugrats Posted September 10, 2017 #8 Share Posted September 10, 2017 Be sure to keep an eye on your itinerary, especially for changes to your Key West stop after Hurricane Irma.
dolls123 Posted October 4, 2017 #9 Share Posted October 4, 2017 I’m cruising the Western Caribbean at the beginning of November so this has been helpful (had no idea what to pack). I normally cruise in May

sillygirlfl Posted October 19, 2017 #11 Share Posted October 19, 2017 It's but once in a while you run into a cold spell. I am always cold inside the ship so I always take long sleeves and a sweater
awhfy Posted October 19, 2017 #12 Share Posted October 19, 2017 We almost always cruise November/December (our anniversary). Caribbean is always warm. Your embarking port may be a bit cooler than May Ship will be decorated for holidays in Thanksgiving night Sent from my iPhone using Forums
