**New** Current list of Cruise Directors (CD)

John Blair says he & Katrina will join Liberty Oct. 29th.

 

Don't see him lasting long there. The strengths he does have are better suited to the Vision/Radiance Class ships and was completely overwhelmed with Anthem.

 

I've just had Bobby Brown on Harmony, and I much prefer his personality to Blair's, but I'm not sure how he got the position on Harmony. He's more the type that likes interacting with guests, so better suited to the smaller ships.

Can you ask Dru if he will be on Anthem July 6th 2017? Would love to sail with him again!

 

Although it is probably too soon to know for sure, my guess is that your sailing will fall within Dru's break so you will have a covering CD. (Dru's next contract should be mid=February through mid-June, with a break from mid-June through mid-August) This is assuming Dru will be the regular CD of Anthem for the next couple of years

Too soon to know for sure if Steve will be returning to Radiance. It seems odd that he will get a 4 month break with 2 CDs splitting that coverage. Maybe that indicates reassignments and a new regular CD?

 

Steve has a family member who posts his schedule to this thread, so perhaps she will stop by and clarify this for us.

Marc Walker returns at the end of February for 2 months.(exact date)

 

We were on his last cruise and he did confirm he would be back in Feb.

Probably not. He generally works a 4 month contract, which would bring him to the end of February, followed by a 2 month break (March and April). And, at this time, it is unknown if he is the new regular CD of Liberty or if he will be assigned another ship when he returns in May.

Jeff is the regular CD on Liberty. Since Amy left he will be there during his scheduled times. Not sure of when.

Are you sure? Because a regular CD contract is 4 months on, followed by 2 months off. Jeff's current contract is slightly over 3 months, so it doesn't fall into the pattern for a regular CD. And, John Blair is scheduled to be there for the next 4 month contract (unless something has changed since that info was provided).

 

Now, if John's contract on LB is only going to be for 2 months (and then he will do 2 months on another ship), and Jeff is coming back for 4 months after a 2 month break, that makes sense!

 

Maybe someone can verify dates with either Jeff or John Blair, either onboard or on social media.

Just off the OV and yes Jimmy Rhodes was the CD.

Currently on Brilliance, Clo is on until 10th Nov. We've never had Clo before but she is now our favourite CD ever, very friendly and natural.
