Just go to your room and order chocolate cake..... By far best dessert carnival offers!

I agree. The best desserts, IMHO, are the room service chocolate cake and the room service cheesecake. I find the Lido desserts are dry and tasteless.

Do they do a creme brule?

Creme brûlée has, as recently as last October, always been offered as a dessert on the first nights menu. I still see it listed on the "old" (not American Table) seven day menus as day one.

I'm off sugar (with a blood glucose level of 72 I'm not about to upset the cart) so I only have the no sugar added desserts and ice cream. Except for that disgusting pumpkin pie, they have all been consistently excellent in the mdr and the lido buffet. They even have one (and only one out of the tons set out) at the Chocolate Extravaganza but happily it's a good one. I have to work at only having a single serving, they're that good. Well, to the true desserties out there, you are probably ready to wash out my mouth with tiramisu for uttering such heresy, but I'm sticking to what I say.:D

The main dining room desserts were very good. Creme brûlée, baked alaska, cheesecake, bread pudding, chocolate melting cake were all delicious. Unfortunately, the buffet desserts were tasteless including the cake pops. We paid 2.25 for a very large piece of cake in the coffee bar by the casino and it was wonderful!

I never found a dessert at the buffet to be worthy of a second bite. Obviously I would prefer fewer selections with more taste.

I enjoyed every dessert in the dining room, some more than others. The weakest was the Grand Marnier souffle. Other than that I left few bites on the plate.

Matter of taste.

Do they have it on the Lido that night or the next? I LOVE creme brûlée and am not above bringing it back to my room to save in the fridge.
