OBC For Booking Excursions in Europe

Who knows? They are so confused they don't even know when the promotion ends.

When did you book your excursions? Was it after sept 1? Then you probably (not for sure) will get it. If earlier than sept 1' then probably not

Yes. We booked our excursions last weekend. I'm hoping i will be able to get it. We shall see. :confused:

It is basically a worthless promotion.

I'll be in the Caribbean on Reflection, doing the eastern run. There are only 3 port stops: San Juan, St Thomas, and St Martin. I've been to all of them previously. While I may book a ship's excursion in St Thomas, I have no plans to do so at either of the others.

I just got off the phone with the captains club who contacted the shore excursion group while I was on the phone. According to them the offer ends on October 31, 2014.

We are interested in some excursions on our Canada-New England cruise but since it is a year away and the list of excursions is only a partial offering. The Captains Club representative told me that if we book 4 now and switch one out at a later date we would still qualify for the OBC of $40 pp. This is a new experimental promotion from Celebrity and they know a lot of the excursions are not available yet.

I was told by Captain's Club that this excursions offer is NOT combinable with any other offer. So many of us book on board or with the 123GO or PYP offer- so in any of these cases, this offer cannot be used. Has anyone else been told this?

Who knows? But it is a much smaller amount of money than either of those plans, so why risk it, considering how confused the offer is.

Besides which we can save more than the $100 OBC they are offering just by booking our own excursions independently instead of the ship's excursions, and don't need to commit to them so far in advance.

I would appreciate if the Celebrity Rep who checks in on this board could let us know the proper answer.

I have had 2 Celebrity booking agents tell me I could use the promo - and then booked my excursions for me. Then today I have been told the opposite by one more.

So nothing has changed. I can't imagine that this promotion has been successful.
