Hello everyone, looking to sail the Carnival Vista in Oct. 2017 for my mother's 60th birthday! Do we know exactly when this ship is set to debut? Any insight or details on this ship? Is this a new Class of Ship?

Any details would be most helpful.

Thank you!

Carnival Vista began service 1-May-2016. We were on in Inaugural sailing. It is a great ship.

Vista is a new class of ship. We are looking forward to our second Vista cruise on the Transatlantic sailing next month. :)

She has been sailing NCL the last 6 years, so maybe just not in touch with Carnival, though a little bit of reading would have helped.

I peeked at old posts too, claims to be a seasoned cruiser. I think it's a random question and not really interested. Stayed for 15 minutes after posting.

Thank you for the nice answer to the op. sometimes people answer with responses that aren't necessary. the reason the poster only stayed 15 minutes is that she got this nice answer and no need to continue reading this thread.

Thanks again :)
