Will it be cold to Cruise to Japan in March

Found some deals for the Quantum of the sea cruise from Shanghai to Japan. I wonder in March, will it be cold there? Will we be able to use the pool on the deck at all?

It will still be on the cool side.

I am not sure if the pool is heated but someone on the RCI Board would know that.

Been to Kyoto in February and it was 4c and sleety. March is more Spring like but changeable and not pool weather generally.

Regardless of the temp, Japan was great. We loved the country and its people.

We cruised from Beijing to Tokyo last year in March. It was cool weather for us Floridians; but it was great touring weather. I would not enjoy touring some of the places we went to during the heat of the summer. Since you will be starting in Shanghai, it will be warmer than what we experienced in Beijing. I hope that your cruise is in Japan toward the end of March, so that you can see the Cherry Blossoms.

I could have written the exact same thing. We cruised from Hong Kong to Osaka and added a 2 week land tour in Japan. The weather was cool, the cruises and especially Japan were great. We had cherry blossoms in all stages, buds, full bloom, petal carpets on the ground for about 3 weeks because we went from south to north and from seaside to the Japanese Alps..

It will be cool the average temperature for Southern Japan in Mark is the low 50's.... which means you can see temperatures as low as 40's and as high as 60's. It will not be a warn trip.

Yes, it will be cold. Great ship, I think you will enjoy it.
