michelle.zhang.90 Posted February 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2016 Found some deals for the Quantum of the sea cruise from Shanghai to Japan. I wonder in March, will it be cold there? Will we be able to use the pool on the deck at all? Thank you!
Rare Keith1010 Posted February 24, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2016 It will still be on the cool side. I am not sure if the pool is heated but someone on the RCI Board would know that. Keith
galeforce9 Posted February 24, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2016 Been to Kyoto in February and it was 4c and sleety. March is more Spring like but changeable and not pool weather generally.
4774Papa Posted February 25, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2016 Regardless of the temp, Japan was great. We loved the country and its people. Rare MVPinBoynton Posted February 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2016 We cruised from Beijing to Tokyo last year in March. It was cool weather for us Floridians; but it was great touring weather. I would not enjoy touring some of the places we went to during the heat of the summer. Since you will be starting in Shanghai, it will be warmer than what we experienced in Beijing. I hope that your cruise is in Japan toward the end of March, so that you can see the Cherry Blossoms. We really enjoyed our cruise; but absolutely fell in love with Japan and the very sweet people there. You can see lots of photos and read about what we did on that cruise on our website. The link to our website is in our signature. With all the amazing sights you will be seeing, being able to swim will be a very low priority. :)
KirkNC Posted March 9, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 9, 2016 I suspect so, we will be there next year in March as well.

We cruised from Hong Kong to Osaka and added a 2 week land tour in Japan. The weather was cool, the cruises and especially Japan were great. We had cherry blossoms in all stages, buds, full bloom, petal carpets on the ground for about 3 weeks because we went from south to north and from seaside to the Japanese Alps.. Expat Cruise Posted March 10, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 10, 2016 It will be cool the average temperature for Southern Japan in Mark is the low 50's.... which means you can see temperatures as low as 40's and as high as 60's. It will not be a warn trip.
