Is there a store close to fll port to buy wine before boarding ship?

Total Wine at the Harbor Center on 17th, near port entrance. Huge place with good prices. May not be open until Noon on Sunday though - local law.

One of the best features about TW is that you can pre-order on-line; your purchases will be waiting for you, making for a quick in and out if you have a cab waiting on you. Good luck! :)

Is it close enough to walk?

We stayed at the embassy suites and the wine store was an easy 5 min. walk.

You can also find most wine brands right next door at the Publix.

Publix is right next to pier?

No, nothing mentioned is next to the port. Are you going by cab to the ship, staying somewhere the day before.... You can Google Harbor Shops where the stores mentioned are. Not a real short walk.... probably at least a mile and a half depending on where your ship sits.

If you mean to walk from Total Wine to your ship, then I'd say no. Port Everglades is an industrial type area, not conducive to walking.

There is a Walgreen's at 17th and Eisenhower Blvd. just outside of the port entrance that sells a limited variety of modestly priced wines; otherwise it's Total Wine or Publix.

Once we drop luggage off at oasis, is it possible to walk to walgreens?

As mentioned MANY times here, no, nothing is close to the pier, and no, you can't walk to anywhere to buy wine from the pier. Maybe Terminal 2/4, commonly where Princess docks, but not from where Oasis docks.

I second the Walgreens, really not a shabby selection and you can pick up extra sunscreen, etc while you are there!

Yes, it's possible. It's about 1.2 miles to Walgreens.
