Do Junior Suites get double points?

On Royal they give you double cruise points for a Junior Suite or above, does Carnival do the same?

Carnival lists VIFP Points and Cruise Day Points, just not sure what the difference is.

As you can see on my profile, the Points and Cruise Day Points are the same.

1 day = 1 point. Isn't that how Carnival scores loyalty points?

Anyways, RCI awards double points for bookings in Junior Suites or higher. So instead of 7 points on a 7 day cruise, it would be 14. The OP was asking if CCL did the same things.

Um, that's how you got to be Platinum. By collecting cruise points (or VIFP Points). For every day you spend onboard a Carnival ship, you get 1 point (so a 7 Day cruise is 7 points). You have to have 75 points to become Platinum. Do you have an account with Carnival (you sign up on their website)? It'll have the number of points you have as well as a list of all your past cruises (along with a few other things). Haven't you ever wondered how you got to be Platinum?

Not 100% sure, but I think VIFP points may not be awarded to free cruises. Then you'd have more sea days than VIFP points.

That can't be it because I have had 4 free cruises and all have counted.

As a suite sailor...they should.

On Carnival, it doesn't matter if you're in an inside on the Riviera Deck, Suite guest or Balcony on the highest deck. One day at sea equals one point.
