Fine with the cabin assignment for what I paid. My friend actually booked after me but had his assigned first (Interior Forward Lido deck I believe)

This is our first guarantee - we went for a guarantee balcony on the Triumph in June.

Is the easiest way to find out if you've received your cabin assignment to click on your luggage tags and see if the TBA has been changed to a room number? Or - is there a better way?

This will be our first Carnival Cruise. We have cruised with Princess and NCl (one each) and chose our cabins both times for those. This is our first guarantee.

In April we were on the Valor and had received an IS on Lido. It is a great location. Enjoy your cruise.

GTY inside. No movement to anything better. We got assigned a cabin early on and stayed there. NCL SKY. Nice cabin, but in an inconvenient location requiring a lot of walking just to the elevators. I like having a choice better, but had a great cruise and no real complaints.

We are happy with this assignment -- rumor has it there is a door closeby that leads to a semi-private balcony.

Booked January 2015 . Sail date june 6, 2015 on carnival triumph. Class ocean view , added someone to our booking as a 4th guest and got room assignment 2 days later on main deck. Called the following week and upgraded to balcony guarantee and was assigned the next day. Upper deck on 2 cabins. One was not guarantee balcony but upgraded. We are on the same floor but opposite sides of the ship which is fine because we always meet either in dining rooms or at elevator.

Just switched from assigned interior to a guaranteed balcony. I'm glad to see so many people are pleased with their location. 71 days till sailing, but I will post where I end up later!

I'm ok with the choice. I knew I was likely to get a 7A, but was hopeful for an unobstructed view, but can't complain for the price.

So excited to have an extended balcony, even if we have to contend with pool chair noise from the lido deck above!

I'm just off a short 3 day getaway on the Carnival Inspiration. I had booked the absolute cheapest, rock-bottom "guarantee inside cabin." I was thrilled when we were assigned a nice ocean view room with one of the extra large windows on the main Riviera deck. So nice!
