Discount on all inclusive drink package

The OP previously started this thread asking if those with the drinks package can book the Winemakers Dinner at a "without wine" price and then order their own drinks from the package.

Obsessing about cutting corners is no way to enjoy a vacation. Whether or not you take the drink package, or attend the Winemakers Dinner, I hope you have a good time either way. (Even though according to your countdown clock your cruise is eight years away )

Hi Fishywood

I am NOT about cutting corners. I plan to buy on either way. But if I can save a few...why not? I am sure I will find other places on the ship to spend it.

PS: I wii updated my clock I am nor sure why that is like that. I leave on the Royal next month. Cruise #10!!!

This was offered on the Grand to Mexico over Halloween. On embarkation day, my DH and I purchased the drinks package and were told about this offer. We were going to purchase it anway, but for a 10 day cruise, we were charged for 9. We are hoping this will be offered on the Emerald for our January/February cruises.

I read the Royal Princess offered on the embark day -one day costs off[$100] if you purchased a ultimate drink card[$49/pp/+tax] for yourself plus your cabin mate[2 total]

this was for I believe the 14day cruise.

We were on the Ruby in nov. on a B2B and bought the package both weeks. The second week was purchased at the start of the second week. We received $100 off each weeks package for a 2 days saving. They just put a new sticker on the card for the second week.
