Best place for margarita?

We will be in KW in September. While we will definitely have some key lime pie, we would like to know who makes the best margaritas? (Freshly made, On the rocks, no frozen pre-mixed stuff please!)

Unfortunately, most bars use the mix. Disgusting! Nothing like a Margarita made with fresh lime juice and good tequila.

I would checkout Agave 308 Tequila Bar at 308 Front St. They make some really great drinks. We happened upon it last October and had a few drinks.

There are several bar tenders at the tiki bar at the sunset pier a the Ocean Key Resort, Al, Zach, Andy and Libby, all of whom make nice Bloody Marys, mojitos, and margaritas.

I like the Margarita's at Alonzo's Oyster Bar. I have been told, that Kelly's has great margarita's, but, I am not speaking from experience on that one!

I second the vote for Kelly's. When I was there on a cruise stop several years ago, they had $4 key lime margaritas for happy hour, and they were amazing!

If you haven't been there yet, try out the. Orchid bar at the Orchid Key Inn. Great cocktails!

I always go to Pepe's on Caroline Street, for the best margaritas and Bloody Mary's.

Margaritaville Margaritas were the worst I've had anywhere.

I agree with Kelly's. Haven't been there in a couple of years, but LOVED the happy hour food, drinks and prices! Love the atmosphere too. We spent many an hour there one October week!!

Yuck....hate Margaritaville! WAY overpriced. A total ripoff whenever and wherever. IMHO
