Size of buses or mini vans

Any idea on size of vans or buses when booking thru Celebrity? Namely St Lucia. I have searched various sites and cannot find an answer. I do not want to be on a 50 person bus. I know private tours are very good but we have lot of OBC that we need to use. Any help or direction would be appreciated, Thank you in advance.

There's no way to know a definitive answer. If there are 50 signed up, you could find them using 50 passenger buses. If only 12 sign up, they could use mini vans. It will depend on the vendor operating the tour, what vehicles they own, how long the journey is. If you absolutely won't travel on a big bus, wait until you are onboard and consult the shore excursion staff.

St. Lucia is an island with some pretty poor roads so I don't think you will see a lot of big buses. More likely to see things like the 21 passenger Toyotas. It is worth calling Celebrity and asking.

From what I remember all of the tours were on mini-busses. The parking lot only had mini-busses.

We took the scenic train ride and there were five busses of passengers going to the train.

On one of our excursions, there were two groups taking the same mini-van. First one group left and then the van returned to bring the other half. Interesting....

Even if your bus doesn't have 50 people, there will likely be more than that at your destinations. It's really not a big deal.

At most islands, the biggest "buses" you'd see are old painted school bus type. Mostly vans or 4x4 open air trucks are used for transport on the smaller islands.
