mattR Posted May 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2016 Do you have to be careful about what you order if you have the Premium Beverage Package as not to be charged extra or is everything included? Do you have to ask the bartender/waiter if the drink is included in the Premium Beverage Package?
pjgavaghan Posted May 21, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2016 I think drinks at the wine cellar are not covered. Also drinks over a certain price I think it is 12.00)
awhfy Posted May 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2016 There are some wines & drinks from World Class Bar that are above the Premium package; however, you just pay the difference in cost

Beanb41 Posted May 21, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 21, 2016 Some wines are outside the package in which case you would pay the difference between the max in the allowance and the actual cost. It would pay to check with your liquor supplier when ordering if the drink is included in the package. In most cases however if a drink is not included in a particular package the waiter / bartender will advise you often with an alternative which is included
jelayne Posted May 21, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 21, 2016 There are some wines including ports that are over the premium package limit. Also some drinks at the World Class Bar are over the limit. I'm sure you could order a drink with a expensive liquor that would put it over the limit. If you are booked go to your cruise planner, select beverage packages, and if you click on the Premium package you can see a list of the liquors included in the Premium package. For wines just show the sommelier you sea pass and they can be sure that you get wines that are in the package. The only thing we normally find we have to pay the difference for is the tawny port my DH likes.
Cruise Junky Posted May 21, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 21, 2016 As well as what's mentioned above there are a couple of martinis with an up charge. 25th Anniversary is one of them

Zoedokey Posted May 21, 2016 #9 Share Posted May 21, 2016 So I can use the premium package at the Cellars bar, and pay. The difference? But I can't use it at all at the dispensing machines? Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

jjk9946 Posted May 22, 2016 #11 Share Posted May 22, 2016 With just paying the difference between $13 and whatever the difference is, we enjoy some wonderful wines, 20-year old Port or an 18 year single malt. These are things we never do in a restaurant as it is just too cost prohibitive. Enjoy, Judy
