What type of stateroom did you have? Also do you have copies of the compass at all?

I had an E1 balcony on the port side. Bed was by the balcony doors, has a small couch, ample room to move around. Stateroom attendant was great. I have all of the cruise compasses I will do my best to upload them when I get home.

I was on the Indy right before you on an 8 day eastern Caribbean cruise. Did you find that the food was not very good? We were in an OS and I must say we were very disappointed in the condition of our stateroom and the lack of service we received from our stateroom attendant and Concierge. RC is definitely taking away a lot of the perks and services we have seen in the past for suite guests.

We board January 3rd.

How was the food?

I found the food to be average to good. It didn't seem as good as my cruise last year on Allure. It definitely was not bad in any way and it didn't affect my cruise or vacation. Just small things here and there such as a steak being over done or very very under done. However, of course the head waiter would check on us each night and if he even noticed it was under or over cooked he immediately offered to bring out a new one. The escargot was fantastic as well as the shrimp cocktail. Dessert options were good as well.

Windjammer was the same old windjammer, still good food and variety was decent. Same items were typically repeated daily for each meal.

We ate in the MDR each night and windjammer for breakfast and lunch.

Sorrentos pizza was fantastic and my fiancé was a big fan of the turkey sandwiches at the cafe promenade.

Count me in as another who would love to see the compass. I leave this Saturday and would like to do a little planning based on that. Even if you had the one pager that highlights the major activities - that alone would be great. Thanks!

we were on that same cruise plus the one leaving on the 30th . We had a back to back cruise .. we were very dissapointed and i say this not in meaness but truth .. I am only 7 days away from diamond but i doubt i will ever get there now . I Loved royal but after this cruise and spending most of our days trying to straighten out mistakes and as for the suite problem .. that is likely due to Gustavo Butcher who is leaving this ship for the Liberty . We found that they had not yet converted to coming from England . We were overcharged at the casino .. There is one person at the desk , who is terribly rude i dont know his name .. The good things were our dining room people . Rose .. I Loved her and Jerry .. and our room steward .... As far as sweet priveledges , they are very limited .. there was almost a riot at bingo as they had taken in over 40,000 dollars when they auctioned off the grand suite at bingo everyone came finally i quess royal made it right but it didnt look like they would .. The crew of the Cruise director were great .. very friendly and even tho busy and overworked , they made it fun . The band Rock the Boat are excellent and those were the best of times but as far as customer service and rude people , we met one man who tried to make it right He was the deck manager michelov helped us as much as he could .. in the end . they had our bill so messed up we took off the tips and then had to run around paying everyone as they had messed it up so badly .. still we are fighting a charge of 210 .. The cruise before us we were told someone was disputing a casino charge that is what made it a hard time getting aboard the 30th of Dec .. We also have a charge that we are disputing and our credit card says it is no problem but Royal just isnt up to par anymore . i have sailed on all the big ships and smaller ones but now i think i will become a loyal norwegian fan after only sailing one time .. it is just the problem even admitted by upper management that they are growing to big to fast ... also the jacuzzis were not hot and people were about to riot the next to last day as the water was luke warm .. I would advise also anyone going to St Kitts .. it looks so beautiful but if you look closely you will see maybe perhaps in the middle of the street two children .. boys one about five and the other nine or ten .. I went up to the first one and he looked as tho he was blind , i looked at him directly and at the slimey man who was standing behind them on the street sidewalk , he was smiling when someone put even a dollar in the tip jar .. he was using those kids and they were drugged . I have no doubts. It is not a good town .It is not safe . I am only warning you and giving you my opinion .. it is terrible I dont want to see this on my trips and if they keep going there .. someone is going to end up hurt .. because it is simply not safe .. if you look closely you will see the evil that is happening on this island which is actually governed by no one ...

it is sad that royal is treating thier customers of many years like this .. many many complaints by other passengers on this voyage . sad to say the least .
