We are looking into renting a cabana at Nellie's Beach for our cruise in January. The price shown is $250/person. Is this correct or is this the total price . Thanks for any input.

If you are in fact seeing it listed that way, that is in correct. That is per cabana, not per person. The guidelines are for up to 6 in the cabana at that fixed price.

Thank you for the quick replies. That is what we thought. Our friends did a fake booking and they said it did 250 per person. I told them that they only had to check one person to purchase it. Thanks again. I can always count on good info on this site.

Just of the Allure today and had an over the water cabana. It was amazing and worth the money. We had an over the water cabana and there were about 25 stairs to climb and to get into the water you had to go down stairs and jump or climb a latter into the water.

Just curious, how deep is the water once you clear those steps you go down?

Thanks!

We will have 2 senior citizens with us, which cabana would be better for access. hill side or over the water.

Thanks

Al and Julie

We had a Hillside Cabana and the climb on the Rock Steps to get there would not be good for the elderly and those with limited mobility! We did the hillside cabana because we are not big time beach people and the hillside was nice and shady, quiet and a very nice view. We really enjoyed it!

We rented a Beach Cabana in Labadee in December. We had two seniors with us, one was 84 and the other 77. They are both fit and are able to walk without assistance.

The best part was the availability to have a golf cart driver take you back and forth to the ship and buffet lunch. When we got off the ship there was a driver sitting in a cart on the other side of the gate……I approached him, explained we had a cabana reservation and he said no problem, he told all six of us to get in the cart and he drove us to the cabana check in and then to our cabana. When we were ready for lunch our cabana attendant called him and took us to lunch where we arranged a pick up time back to the cabana. At the end of the day he even drove us to the entrance of the ship saving my dad the extra walking distance from the security gate. Our driver was very kind to all of us but than again we were generous in our tipping as we went along.

Here are some photo's taken of the cabana's we had on Nellie's Beach from our cabin on the ship.

There are maybe 6 beach cabana's behind the yellow wall. As you can see there are a few steps into the cabana but one of them is handicap accessible. Very short distance to the water.

HI

My question is does all the people have to be a suite we have a suite but our friends have balcony, Could they join us

Thanks for any help

Only the cabanas on Barefoot Beach have to be reserved by suite guests. Nellies Beach is open to the whole ship.

I would suggest calling the Handicap accessible Department and ask for either cabana #9 or #10 on Nellies. They are really nice. They share a ramp that goes down onto the water's edge. There are no steps or ladders to get into the water. We had #10 about three years ago. We got it because we were the last party to show up and claim their cabana and it worked out great for us. In the picture on the thread, #10 is visible on the right side of the photo with the ramp that leads to the water. When you do use the ladders, at high tide, you get off the ladder into water that is waist deep on an adult.
