Sn1ps Posted August 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Anyone that has done the East/West Caribbean in end of March, how the the temperature? Not that worried about the water, just worried about day temp and being on deck.
easyboy Posted August 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2017 We were on the East/West Caribbean just last March 24 - April 8. We were wearing shorts all the time in port and onboard, except dinner time at the MDR. Beach water temp was most ideal for a dip/swim. OCruisers Posted August 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Always very warm/hot you're actually into the Caribbean. Enjoy! :D
Rare Keith1010 Posted August 14, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 14, 2017 80's is a good general rule. Sometimes it can actually be cooler in the early morning and take a few hours to warm up and other times already warm. It is one of a handful of very popular months to sail these areas. cb at sea Posted August 14, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 14, 2017 In March, as in ALL months in the CARIBBEAN, it's summer! Bermuda and the Bahamas are NOT Caribbean countries, however, so Florida-like weather applies to those ports. But still, it will be quite pleasant! Bring your shorts! The OP is more likely to encounter Spring Breakers on the 3 and 4 day Bahamas cruises than on a 7 day (or longer) Eastern / Western Caribbean cruise.
