Welcome to the Wonderful World of Cruising!

You may want to also check the Ports of Call section of CruiseCritic.

When we were in Cozumel, we hire a car with a driver from ToursPlaza (google it). We have our own private car, our own itinerary, and cheaper too.

Enjoy your cruise!

As mentioned do check out the cruise line board and your roll call board.

Also visit the internet site for your cruise line as there is often a lot of valuable information on the site to hep you prepare for your cruise.

Have a wonderful time.

Welcome.

Don't try to do everything. There's just too much to do.

Read the tips section on the main portion of this website. Read RCLs website, especially the FAQ section and all of the materials they send you with your e-tickets.

Some basic universal suggestions:

1. cross pack your luggage flying

2. bring some small bills for tipping cabbies, porters, tour guides etc.

3. pack clean undies, a bathing suit & a change of clothes in the carry on you board with in case your luggage gets delivered last

4. after you board & have lunch take a quick lap or two around various decks to orient yourself to the ship

5. try new foods when you dine

6. if you like cold water by the pool, pack an insulated mug that you can fill with ice because it will stay cold longer than the small glasses offered by the cruise line. N.B. Tap water is desalinated & safe to drink on board so you don't need to bring or buy bottled water

You picked a good cruise line and ship for your 1st cruise, also Cozumel is one of our favorite ports with loads of great bars and restaurants. I would join the "Meet and great" great place to ask questions and meet your fellow cruisers.
