during regular hours yes. if the MDR is not open of lunch, you cannot order. they will provide a copy of the night's Dinner menu on the bed after they make up the room in the am. have never seen the lunch menu and it does change daily as well.

no trays for quite some time. there is a spot for Gold sea pass cards only to eat.. either in a specialty( even if it is not serving lunch) or a section of the Windjammer. on NAV, for instance it is located adjacent to Chops just outside of the main WJ stations.

You must order during regular dining hours. We tried to get some Suite Only items on the room service breakfast menu for an early breakfast on a port day, and they refused since it wasn't dining hours.

Also, we ate in the room on formal night, and the tenderloin was tough and full of gristle. Fries looked like they came out of the frozen section of the supermarket.

Thank you for your help. That is exactly what I wanted to know.

On Brilliance we ordered breakfast from the MDR menu one morning, and wasn't really impressed. Pancakes were ice cold and they screwed up part of our order.

What we really enjoyed was the breakfast they had every morning in Chops for suite guests. Cooked to order right there, not brought in from the main galley, and the service was top notch. I think most ships do this, and if you're in a suite, it's a very nice perk.

We did breakfast once on Celebrity.

Placed order night before and then proceeded to forget about it until butler knocked on door at 7:45. :o

No more breakfast room service for us

We were in a GS on the Explorer and ordered breakfast a couple times. Each time the meal came hot and complete.

Another time we were in an OS and my DH and DD did not feel like getting dressed up, so we ordered dinner on formal night. Dinner came complete, hot and delicious.
