  1. Had no problem linking b2b when I booked Sky 9/1/23 and 9/11/23 on the phone with my agent Giovanni. Of course I used him to get the same inside cabin on both sailings, never tried to book b2b separately.
  2. I have been misquoted , the only Butler I know is Jimmy.
  3. Do any NCL ships offer veggie burgers? Had some on last two Royal Caribbean cruises, available by request, usually a five minute wait.
  4. So, Jonestown, please bring up to date about the Sky.
  5. Jumping on Sky in Baltimore, 9/1/23, headed to Quebec. Wondering if there were any vegan items on the main dining room menu. Hope the entertainment is still as great as you saw.
  6. Getting off was just as easy, showed no one our passports, did facial recognition, no customs or any paperwork, fastest ever.
  7. According to the Allentown Morning Call Trans-Bridge Lines has returned to having buses going directly to the pier in Manhatten, starting in Allentown and making various stops in NJ on the way. Recently one had to take the bus to 42nd street and then take a cab to the ship. Appreciate any improvements.
  8. According to the Allentown Morning Call, Trans-Bridge Lines is restarting their bus service to Cape Liberty. Reservations are required, and one can park at the ABE airport during the cruise. I have not investigated the current charges, but it used to be the bus left the airport at 9 AM, would get to the cruise terminal at 10:30 or 11:00 AM. On the return the bus was waiting in the parking lot for a 9:30 AM return to ABE Airport. The price in 2019 was $50 each for seniors round trip and the parking was $5/night, with the first 3 nights free. So for a 9 nighter out of Cape Liberty it used to cost my wife and me $35 parking plus $100 bus tickets. Currently for a 9 night cruise the parking at Cape Liberty is $30/day, $270 total. We live 3 miles from the airport, never had any problems with parking overnight there. I know some folks have come from Berks and Lancaster Counties to use these services. Makes it a lot easier and cheaper for us to do a last minute cruise.
  9. It is true, they can cancel all the ports, cruise to nowhere, and as long as they end where they said they would they owe you nothing. But if they tell you what the ports will be, then change it after final payment, they have done nothing illegal. It is up to you if you want to sail with cruise lines that do that to you.
  10. Prices would be even higher if gamblers did not make their contributions, not saying prices are low, but am also a big fan of bingo for same reason.
  11. Enjoyed WWRY 3 times on Anthem, 2nd time Spectra was not as good. Will catch WWRY on the 2024 TA, probably skip Spectra.
  12. One other thing that was slightly different was ESPN on our cabin tv. Both ESPN and ESPN2 were listed, but a lot of the programming was not the same. Found out we were watching Caribbean ESPN. For NBA playoff games there was no scores listed on the screen and no clock or 24 second clock, nothing on the screen except the game. It was hard to get used to because the announcers rarely mentioned the score or the time. So I really had to pay attention and mentally keep score. Even on sports center they had no scores or messages running at the bottom of the screen, unlike the USA version of ESPN. Back home watching game 5 just reminded me of Caribbean ESPN.
  13. Yes, you are getting paid exactly what you deserve.
  14. Why should he? NCL cancelled the cruise.
  15. We recently booked last minute, 30 days out on Liberty, inside GTY was only inside available. We checked in immediately, but the paperwork only said GTY. About 10 days before we sailed we were assigned 6589, overlooking the promenade. Will do that again.
  16. Then you should do NCL a favor by filing your review, glad you enjoyed the cruise, let the world know.
  17. Always, but it does not change what already happened previously. Looking forward to a future cruise on Sky, not at all encouraged after reading the reviews on CC. Seems the only ones who liked the cruise were either first timers or stayed in suites or the haven. Many experienced cruisers said it was their worst cruise ever. We will make the best of our cruise, but already alerted as to what might or might not happen. Looking forward to specialty restaurants, been 4 years.
  18. Not all changes are announced before boarding the ship, that is the point. In addition, booking at the last minute involves booking last minute, probably more expensive transportation. Living close to a port would help, but our closest port NYC, has cut down on many cruises, don't want to go to Bermuda again, seen enough dogs looking for drugs.
  19. I believe you, the point is you have no idea how NCL compares to other lines, so you have no idea how good or bad NCL is.
  20. People losing money gambling helps keep my cruise price down. Happy to see people getting "free" cruises for giving cash to the casino. My only objection is the placement of the casino so I must walk through the smoke to get to another spot on the ship.
  21. The only reason we sail NCL is the itinerary. Sapphire rewards are good, specialty restaurants, free laundry and some WiFi. We are booked to sail from Taiwan, making 4 stops in the Philippines and then on to Malaysia, ending in Singapore for 12 days. Royal has nothing like it, but generally has better entertainment, food about the same, and I have met better, friendlier people on RCI.
