  2. Guess you'll just have to book another cruise! πŸ™‚
  3. If you're able to get them on board (they would have to be carried on - NOT checked, especially as those are weaker bottles than wine bottles), PLEASE don't take them on the pool deck. No glass is allowed on those.
  4. Anyone heard anything about 10248? Not that there's anything I can do about it now since my sailing is pretty much sold out. The only video I can find doesn't have any sound and actually mislabels it as it's of 10284 not 10248 like its title says (in spite of the very first bit showing the cabin number - Deck 10 cabin 284).
  5. I will just say that when I was on Coco Cay during my Anthem cruise, I had a day bed on South Beach and was directly on the other side of the foliage (a pretty good distance PLUS all the leaves between them) from Hideaway and I could clearly hear the music blasting and thumping. I can only imagine how loud it would be there. That may not bother you, but it's something to be aware of. It may be adult-only, but it's not meant to be serene...it's meant to be a party.
  6. Agreed! Yet another reason to dislike that "sport".
  7. Mine SETS final payment a week ahead of the cruise's in case of issues with a card, etc.
  8. This. It's really not that hard to tell my TA what cabin I would like (I always give her a few options in case my first choice is gone by the time she gets it - which is always within 24 hours, usually less...but I'd rather give her more just in case). And as I've worked with her, she has gotten to know what I like, so honestly I hardly NEED to tell her any more as she can look at availability and book what I'd prefer.
  9. Yes. And you'd need to purchase one for yourselves as well. The only people admitted are those with passes. Even those who aren't going on the slides but are accompanying others.
  10. Well, except for those who drink and drive and get into accidents which harm or kill other people…
  11. NYC’s public schools (and maybe some others in the area) always have their Spring Break over Passover. In non-Leap Years that usually coincides with Easter. But in Leap Years it tends to be later.
  12. When it is closed for cleaning (happens in port), they should put advance notice in the Compass the night before. For weather related closures, I haven't experienced that, but I would guess it should be fairly obvious from the weather if it's a possibility. I don't know that they call all the staterooms and say "We are locking them due to weather."
  13. You review has been great - thank you for sharing! And the pictures are awesome! (I especially appreciate how you take the time to sticker-out faces - it always makes me uncomfortable seeing pictures of groups/events where people don't know they're being photographed like silent discos, etc.)
  14. Reflection is out of Ft. Lauderdale and Beyond is out of Miami. Both up.
  15. No double dipping. You can do one or the other.
  16. Thank you for the review - especially of a full ship. I've been nervous about my cruise on her this summer that looks to be completely full. Great to have a first-hand report.
  17. Lots of clapping? That always bumps my count way up.
  18. Thank you! I plan to - just have to get WiFi...holding off until Memorial Day hoping there will be a big sale on it.
  19. I'm confused - your key cards to your door? Why would they have taken them?
  20. Yup. And unlike others who "changed" it to the same thing, I got a "you cannot use a previous password" message. So the inconsistency is all over the place.
  21. Thanks! When I said "stuck" that was in reference to the advice to choose my stateroom wisely. That ship has sailed. I got what I got - I think 10248 (stuck in the password debacle so I can't double check). I do have an Aqua Class cabin - I got so spoiled in Blu on the Summit I upgraded to Aqua after booking on board. So yeah, I'll have the Thermal Suite - and Blu for breakfast and dinner. I well remember the hard upsell on the additional classes - on the Summit the fitness center guy actually walked away from me when I politely but firmly stood my ground and said that I might well book more classes once I try them - but I got burned before with signing up for a package of classes and they were not what I was expecting. Massages...again I always get stuck with someone who ignores my "No Sales Please" and goes in for the hard sell at the end, so I try to avoid those. I'm gluten-free, so that complicates where I can grab food to a degree. But maybe if I have a bigger breakfast and aim for an earlier dinner I can get by with just snacks here and there. Ports are Aruba (currently have Small Group Jeep... I can't remember the full name and now I'm caught in the "password is not correct" thing, so I'm not going into my account for a bit to see if it straightens itself out); Bonaire (currently have Woodwind booked for snorkeling); and Curacao (currently booked on the Irie Tours tour that includes snorkeling with turtles).
