I just checked the FAQ again and under “Are self-test acceptable” it refers to medically observed self-test. While this refers to Vaccinated guests, it seems the self-test reference would apply to unvaccinated as well.

Maybe we take a picture of our home test stick and upload that! 😂 Edit: The Princess FAQ under - where to get tested - still gives the information that has been there for quite some time regarding the observed home tests. So it looks like no new/updated information there. You would either take a test at a test site ( like Walgreens, minute clinic, your local clinic etc) or take a home proctored (observed) self test online via emed.com ( or similar). To self test using a proctor you need to have an internet connection, and your device needs a camera and audio capability. When test is complete you will be emailed a copy of your test results, You then upload a picture or scan of your test results into the Medallion App. I use Abbott Binaxnow ( the RX version) which can be ordered through Optum or Emed

If there aren’t more than two of you in a cabin I would see if there are open Ocean View cabins in the same category that aren’t quads that you can move to. The bunks on the wall are intrusive, in particular if the bed is set up as a queen.

Agree with PacnGoNow. Ask your TA (or Princess if you booked directly ) to see if there is an open cabin in same category that is available for both voyages. Have them “link” the bookings so Princess easily sees you are on a B2B - doing so will increase the chance that if you are upgraded or moved Princess will assign the same cabin for both voyages.

One option is Emed.com we use them to order and take tests. Proctors available 24x7 p, no appointment needed and results are back within a few minutes of completing the test.
