  1. You don't need to reserve time in Adventure Ocean anymore.
  2. But the CDC doesn't govern UK-based cruise companies. So the CDC decision had no bearing on P&O's decision.
  3. The interesting thing here is if they're not paying for your quarantine anymore, then there should be no more quarantine rooms either. Just have it like any other illness on board.
  4. They may be pre-symptomatic and spread it later, but there's no on the ground evidence that asymptomatic people are spreading it.
  5. If the CDC didn't mandate 1 day testing before, there's no way any cruise line would do it voluntarily now.
  6. Even if you get it connected to the TV, you may not be able to get it connected to wifi since you have to log into the wifi portal and not just simply connect. Some claim to get that to work on xbox, others not.
  7. Michael Bayley hinted last month that the end of testing was coming. I can't imagine they'd suddenly say "oh we better keep testing" because the CDC still recommends it. It's not like anyone was surprised by the "new" guidance.
  8. Cdc issued its voluntary guidance today. Which is exactly the same as the mandatory guidance, just with different auxiliary verbs
  9. Putting thousands of dollars on the line on a trip that many can't reschedule any time soon because a few drops of reagent tells you you're sick even when you feel perfectly fine isn't stressful to you?
  10. I wouldn't recommend the RC card. It's way too difficult to accumulate points.
  11. All the new CDC guidance will be is replacing a bunch of "musts" with "shoulds" from the old guidance. But I'm sure RC doesn't want to rock the boat with any of its changes before the CDC issues its own.
  12. Of my 4 cruises since the restart only on Serenade did they have the pre-covid limited bar menu since the lounge there has its own bar set up. The other three your order went through the viking crown bar.
  13. Some bars have featured drinks and that'd be what would be on any menu, but there's a near unlimited combination of drinks that can be made
  14. While technically true by the "letter of the law" your results may vary in practice. Be nice to the concierge/bar staff and good things may happen with your drinks.
  15. Chocolate and Ice sounds like some 70s disco duet
  16. My March and June cruise double points came in as expected. Waiting for my July cruise points to be applied now
  17. RC does a great job with food allergies, but that's a tough one. I have no doubt they'll help you eat in confidence, but I'd definitely follow their advice and get a face to face meeting with the dining staff. They are really good about checking up on you each meal once they know your face. If I had to pick a career all over again, it'd be in food allergy research. They've come a long way in developing readily available alternatives to (traditional) dairy allergies, gluten, egg, etc. But still plenty of people out there who struggle to enjoy a vacation away from home over food concerns.
  18. And it's a tiny ship to begin with. Maybe a million or two in deposits is worth it
  19. I assume it's the same TV-dinner looking turkey entree they have in the MDR sometimes.
