  1. Thanks for the honest review both good and bad from your perspective. We check-in next Sunday and sail on the Celebration April 30th. I am excited to see the new ship and to be enjoying all the places to eat on board.
  2. Has Carnival/P&A brought back the Blanton's yet? Pre-covid cruise in 2020 I collected the B-L-A-N-T horse toppers on the Panorama and still need a couple more. Was hoping on the Celebration I could come across some more to complete the set.
  3. One thing I recently learned is that if you look at the deck plan PDF under the Explore Our Ships on the Carnival website the second page has the rooms that can accommodate a scooter. If the room is gray color, it has the bed closer to the bathroom and the sofa by the balcony, these rooms can't accommodate one. Now whether the other ones can truly accommodate the scooter you bring is a different question but Carnival believes they can. This is only on the new Excel class ships as far as I know where there are the two different bed/sofa configurations in the standard rooms.
  4. Thanks for the tip, I did not know you could keep the time selected if you didn't finish it all. Good to know for next time. Usually I am up at check-in time but don't really feel like digging the passports and such out and wait until morning,
  5. Thanks for another great review. Now back to my regularly scheduled programming.
  6. I can't wait to get back to Grand Turk. Looks even better than I remember it.
  7. Great to put a face to all your reviews I've read, well a face without a phone in the middle of it that is. Safe travels tomorrow and thanks again for another awesome review. If your've indeed closed out your live review career you did it with a bang!! 😁
  8. Wondered if maybe you'd gone carb free for the cruise. πŸ˜†
  9. I fear Sid is stuck in the slide. πŸ˜† Seriously though, thanks for taking us on another trip with you. I am enjoying it while counting the days until I sail on the Celebration first week of May.
  10. Thats a good exchange rate they are offering. Cheaper in USD.
  11. Thanks for spending time to do this live review. I really enjoyed it. We are thinking about sailing on the Harmony with some friends when she relocates to Galveston.
  12. The MS Amadea chartered by German-based Phoenix Reisen. Built originally in 1991 as the MS Asuka for Nippon Yusen Kaisha. Thanks Wikipedia. πŸ™‚ Looks like she is currently on a 23 day, one-way New Year cruise from Villefranche-sur-Mer, Nice France to Puntarenas., Costa Rica
  13. I laugh when so many in those crowds would probably say they could never go on a cruise - way too crowded. πŸ™‚
  14. Safe travels tomorrow Sid and enjoy the last hours of your cruise in the AM and your last Shaq chicken biscuit!! I read many of your reviews over the past few years but always after the fact. It was so awesome to follow along live this time and waste many hours of my work week!! After you (and St Gregg) I am so looking forward to my Celebration cruise in April. It will be the same itinerary as yours. Thanks so much for taking us along.
  15. Cruise Mapper is showing the Celebration in rough seas at 3.3m.
  16. Love the shirt!! Big fan!! We plan on visiting the Yoda Guy Movie Exhibit when the Celebration docks in St. Maarten on our April 30th sailing!
  17. So what do they not have to β€œask the chef” to order? By my count that was three apps, soup and a main? It all looks so good we may have to plan more than one night there!!
  18. The only work I am getting done is when Sid is in the hot tub, charging his phone or sleeping. πŸ˜†
  19. Maybe it contains all the ducks she has to hide today??? πŸ™‚
  20. Finally caught up. Sounds like a great evening in Miami!
