  1. I say the same thing about about my wife. We've been happily married for 4 years, (not bad for 47 years of marriage).
  2. Yep. I know it'll a little pricey, but I was able to snag the same cabin was is very hard to get with accessible balconies.
  3. Doing a B2B from Cape Liberty this September on the Liberty. Nine night NE/Canada followed by a five night Bermuda.
  4. On your next cruise, see the CA rep. He can link the family together if necessary and reprint their cards to reflect their diamond status. It takes less than five minutes. This way you avoid both customer service and the IT department.
  5. Where's the one by Crown Bay?
  6. Keep in mind most people only post about their negative experience. If they had good time, they usually say nothing. That being said , crowded pool areas in the summer on an Oasis class are the norm. It's a family ship.
  7. No. He was sailing on the Scarlet Lady and just walking around.
  8. All I did was go there to buy a t shirt. It was about a 10-12 minute walk. But I did see the chef Ben from Below Deck while I was walking back. I don't know if it's still true, but it was cashless when I was there.
  9. Orient Beach is usually the last stop. If you're not interested, he will take you back to the ship, or drop you off at Front Street. Highly recommended.
  10. I second your thoughts. They are fantastic there and prices are great. I didn't get to Luxbar because of time issues. I plan to be at both places whiI return this coming January.
  11. Take the ferry and then taxi. Really easy and safe.
  12. When they first introduced the new menu, some menus were repeated during longer cruises. But now they have at least 12-13 different menus so you probably won't see any repeats.
  13. I was on an 8 nighter after that issue and we did stop in Miami. The problem with the cruise you were referring to was the sequence of stops caused the ship to have to go through customs. It went from US to Bahamas back to US and then Bahamas so customs was necessary. Also, prior January 11 night cruises had 5 ports of call. Some in Jan 2024 had the number of port stops reduced from 5 to 4. Royal's explanation was they wanted to improve guest experience with a smoother ride. I think they wanted an additional sea day so passengers would spend more money on the Anthem.
  14. Look at scootaround or specialneedsatsea. Royal does not rent them.
  15. We requested a paper copy from the room steward and it was delivered the night before each day, even though we had morning room service. Getting one the day is hit or miss, even at guest service.
  16. In mid tides, you would not notice anything. At best you would need about two hours to see everything. Any more time would be overkill.
  17. I booked the same tour thru Royal a few years ago. It was okay. If I remember, you were basically looking at them from the outside, not really allowed inside. I wouldn't pay any more than $40-50. Not worth it for a higher price, in my opinion. The town tour was nothing special.
  18. Or bring some cokes in your carry-on and sneak some minis in with your checked luggage. Not that I ever did it, but so I've been told.
  19. More details are needed , such as port, and your definition of what the shuttle bus is for.
