    I just checked it for my area and answered the question as "yes". The test is still free for us and it showed dates for the next 5 days open for my closest CVS. There were also many more CVS's available if I wants to drive a little further but I didn't check for any dates. Strange that it would be free for my area and not all over the state.

    Perhaps your right. I only checked the first page of the CVS web page. I'll see if it'll allows me to make an appointment & report back.

    Since most people eat in the crowded DR the chances of catching an infection must be reduced at the buffet. 😉

    It's not surprising. Lately some ships allow them, some don't.

    I just checked for free testing (for the heck of it) here in SW Florida and the free Rapid test is still being offered by CVS.

    Correct. On our last trip in Florida we entered with multiple 1 liter plastic bottles in a suitcase & were never questioned. I suppose they could have rejected them.

    There appears to have been a change since the return from Covid. I wonder if there is a max on the number of drinks that can be ordered at one time ❓

    I don't recall the volume of music on the CB being as extreme as on the Royal class ships. The open design of the Piazza lets the sound fill every space completely.

    Yes, there will be many that dress up while some who don't. It's not a "requirement" like on Cunard by any means.

    I just noticed the main title of this thread (Indoor Heated Pool). There was no indoor pool on the Crown. Sorry.

    We were tested at an old CVS store not in use any loner and the person administering the test wasn't really checking each individual that closely. She was checking 5 people at once & didn't know who did it accurately.

    What I meant tp imply was receiving OBC for each 100 owned shares, not just for the first 100.

    As long as they don't implement it for my next cruise I won't cancel before final payment. 😉 I can stay home and vacation to local places not wearing any mask and still enjoy myself.

    LOL . Not at all. I like to watch my movies on the ship and viewing them on the larger cabin TV makes life more enjoyable at night. Especially using a Roku device which has a built in earphone jack in the remote. I can watch what I want & not disturb my husband sleeping although it only worked with my movies, not the Princess movies.

    I believe in was in 2019. I don't know if the main pools were heated or not but the Lotus pool is heated- sometimes it's to warm.

    I think so but there's still a crowd waiting to get in at 5 PM. Maybe they're getting there early just to avoid the rush that builds up just a little later? They could just show up at 5 PM, get a table in the DR, have a leisurely drink and order dinner 45 minutes later while the line builds up at the door? If they had their drink at a bar the queue would already be formed.

    Isn't that the truth. 😄 Some people believe that CC is representative on 100% of the cruising public when in fact it's only a small fraction at most.

    On the Enchanted in April and had no problems ordering 2 drinks on one Medallion App. Only one time were we charged for a drink we didn't order and there was no question having it removed form the tab.

    If I were booked on one of those cruises, we would cancel also. There are to many other cruises around to be uncomfortable on a vacation to bother masking especially when catching the virus isn't as bad as it used to be. I suspect it has to do with the ports they're going to visit. If not, Princess would be making it mandatory on every ship.

    I guess you could say that masking provides at least a sense of comfort & calming for those that wear them.

    We always eat at 5 PM regular dining so we've never had a need to spend the extra on CC. Eating early only provides that extra dish or dessert. (and special tablecloth)

    Last time we were on it the generator was gone and the pool was heated.
