  1. If it were the Caribbean I wouldn't be to upset as we've been to ALL the ports numerous time over but it would really be upset on an Alaskan trip since we've only seen the ports once or twice.
  2. Be sure to report back with any details.
  3. Maybe young adult category would fit better. I am not a Godzilla fan, especially when they play it on MUTS. 😖 I guess they can't please everyone. 😄
  4. In the Vista lounge and the place was practically empty the nights we went. Maybe 20 or 30 people at most. After 5 or 6 times we forget about it since the DR would usually be a little crowded by that time & we don't like to wait to be seated.
  5. On the Enchanted this spring, shorts were OK on casual evenings in the DR for both men and women. As well as on Formal nights just a sport shirt and dockers/jeans would suffice. We'll be back on the Enchanted this winter once again so it should be interesting to see if anything has changed.(I doubt it) btw- this was with 2 different Maître D's one which is known to be more strict about DR dress protocol.
  6. I think it has a lot to do with where the ship is located more so than the internet provider. On the Enchanted in the Caribbean (March) it was great at all times of day and night. I streamed my programs from Xfinity & Netflix without any hesitation.
  7. The last cruise we were on was in Mar/April 2022. There were no movies from 2022. There were 7 movies from 2021 out of around 30 or presented. Out of the 2021 movies one was only for kids (Godzilla vs Kong), 3 we had already seen, leaving 3 new to us and 1 was of no interest. That leaves only 2 movies for 30 days (only shown once on MUTS only) and unless you wanted to watch them on MUTS (which I don't really prefer) you were out of luck.
  8. If they let people switch ships it means they were aware of the problems all along. We all know that no one wants to admit their wrong and correct what their doing isn't in the best interests. Yep, speed problems have plagued the ship for a while now. I believe they've tried to correct it but it obviously hasn't helped. Since the Enchanted is practically brand new I wouldn't expect it to have any speed problems yet.
  9. Well they did have sound. 😄 Same on the Enchanted. The MUS movies that used to play in the cabin the next day were not shown again. I wouldn't even considerer those as newer. I'm beginning to think it's another cutback to save money.
  10. Being an older ship I suppose you could expect some of those problems from time to time.
  11. In general the parents never seem to hear the commotion their kids make. They are so used to hearing the racket it becomes almost normal to them. Thankfully in the DR we have the option to not sit in that area when being led to our seat but on a tour you're almost stuck with them on the same small transport bus. I don't think there's anyone who would choose to be nearby. Good luck.
  12. In Mar/April it was also a portion of Deck 8, starboard side. Things may have changed since then.
  13. There old. Very old if you're accustomed to the latest releases on DVD's.
  14. I'm not sure if you meant on subsequent nights or the first night but if my husband would have seen that he would have worn his shorts and then pointed it out to the head waiter. It things like that double standard that start all the problems.
  15. I just turned off the TV and it reset itself to the normal settings when it was turned back on.
  16. After the first time when you apply it becomes automatic.
  17. The problem with recording the shows is that they don't want anyone videoing them. If shown in the cabin TV's, people would record them off the TV.
  18. I keep reading these replies in hope of Princess returning to the BOGO dinner in the Specialty restaurant on the first night. 😅
  19. Shown at the top of the page for making a reservation. But this was for West Palm Beach that someone was asking about.
  20. I can't say for sure about the Discovery Princess but on ALL the other Princess ships we've been able to connect to the HDMI input and switch in the input for our devices. Yes, it's difficult to reach but with some persistence it can be done. Also considering the limited new material that Princess is currently offering you won't be disappointed in bringing you own shows to watch.
  21. I just did another check for one of the zip codes in West Palm Beach this morning and this is what I saw.
  22. I'm surprised about both things although I do like to serve myself. Especially about the food. The Regal (prior to Covid) had exceptional selections and it was prepared just right in both the DR and buffet. Things have definitely taken a turn for the worst.
