  1. I will say it depends on the child. My kids are 8 and 4 so cannot answer yet for my kids but they do enjoy the kids clubs. I would say for most kids 12 is a good age but there are probably some who are 10 and mature enough.
  2. I think you would just get the difference as OBC if port fees drop. That is my experience with cruises.
  3. If they are going to make an announcement effective the 14th they need to do it by tomorrow because that would be when people would go get tested if they have a cruise on the 14th.
  4. It is against the rules but they don't always follow the rules. If you want to take the risk then go for it understanding it could get confiscated.
  5. Well hopefully testing will be lifted for those vaccinated regardless of cruise length. At the same time I am fine with them lifting the testing for unvaccinated as well but I can understand if for Public Relations purposes they need to keep the testing requirement for unvaccinated guests.
  6. Our cruise is not till the end of October and I am a bit stressed about it too. The timing of having to get it done and the off chance me, my wife or our 2 kids end up testing positive even if we are otherwise perfectly healthy and we miss our vacation as a result. It is ridiculous to even have a testing requirement at this point.
  7. If you are looking for just coffee then the coffee card is the better deal.
  8. I usually do a mix of both on cruises. Sea Day in the Dining Room, port day at the buffet.
  9. I will be on Anthem of the Seas Oct 29th out of Cape Liberty NJ. Looking forward to it.
  10. You are allowed to bring 2 bottles of wine onboard per stateroom. If you are concerned a specific brand or type may not be available then you might as well bring it on just in case.
  11. 2 750ml bottles of wine and a 12 pack of soda (or other non alcoholic canned beverage) is allowed to bring onboard per stateroom.
  12. I believe the ships have XBOX One's so maybe instead they could play those instead of packing their own. Plus with the wifi speed on ships I doubt it would be good enough for any online gaming.
  13. When I check it out on priceline it ends up being $297 more with the free at sea deal for the gratuities. On ncl website directly it is $555 more for the gratuities. $297 extra for 7 night cruise I think I can do. Having never cruised NCL before just want to make sure there is something I am not aware of with this deal.
  14. I have never cruised Norwegian before and am looking at a cruise next year to Bermuda out of New York. Is the Free At Sea deal worth it with the free open bar and free specialty dining. Are there restrictions I should be aware of with this offer?
  15. I feel like Johnny Rockets is a waste for the pay dining. It should be included. Carnival has Guys Burgers for free and those were tasty.
  16. I hope this is no longer required when I go on my cruise on Anthem Oct 29th
  17. I will be there early November, looking forward to it. As long as no rain that day then it is all good!!!
  18. Keep it simple with card games like UNO or Phase 10 or bring a few decks of cards. Board games could take up valuable luggage space plus the ships typically have board games available.
  19. I have a 4 year old who is a picky eater. The kid however does love Mashed Potatoes and Spaghetti (without Sauce) so worst case scenario I know I at least have those staples to stuff his face with.
  20. I cruise on Anthem of the Seas on Oct 29 out of Cape Liberty. First time going to that cruise port. Hopefully parking is good for me.
  21. The problem is requiring everyone over 21 in the cabin to get it. My wife is not a big drinker, she may be good for 1-2 a day at best. If we could buy it where it is just me and my wife does not need to get it then I would purchase it.
  22. As of now for Royal Caribbean the testing requirement is through Sept 30th. I do not think it will end prior to that but selfishly on my part I hope they do not extend it since I have a cruise on Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas Oct 29th.
