Good suggestion! I had mentioned it to the F&B Manager on the Quest Xmas Cruise in '19. He said he would order it. Not sure if it ever showed up as we've not sailed because of Covid. I'm not surprised to hear that Sandra says its mentioned as it always seems very popular in Starbucks. It's my favorite drink these days so wish it was available!! 🙂

I will be flying into Heathrow and the only time I will need any cash money would be to tip the person who handles the wheelchair at the airport. Would it be ok to tip them in US$? I have prepaid my transportation to Southampton. So I don't think I'll need any other currency while in the UK. Thanks for any info.

Booked one of the suites up from for a T//A and had several "wild rides". Almost fell out of bed a couple of times. I would pass on that location in the future.

Yes..that's the cruise we did in '09. We sailed on the Century on her last T/P on her way to be sold!! 😞 Sailed her a number of times and loved that ship!! 😉

I didn't see where it mentioned the number of passengers....did I miss that? I thought many of the prices looked pretty good and comparable to AZ and Oceania as well.

Celebrity used to do this way back in '09. I spoke to a head marketing guy on a cruise in '17 about this ..asking why there weren't more west coast sailings and why use LA versus SD which is such a nicer, easier to port to access. He told me that X didn't think they would get enough business on west coast sailings!! I told him based on comments on CC i thought they would have plenty of bookings. Looks like they have changed their minds..at least somewhat. HAL is still sailing from SD to MX, HI and Pacific Coastal..also some further out to Tahiti from SD.

Any entertainment offered during HH? I know a # of years ago they did have a piano player..but that could have gone by the wayside?!!

I can only imagine how difficult this is for you both. My DH Kenneth just passed away the beginning of March and he had dementia as well as Parkinson's. If I might suggest a book that really helped me "The 36 Hour Day". It was so helpful and so many ideas and ways to help you care for him. There are a lot of resources out there and please lean on your friends and family for support. Best to you both.
