    My friend and I are booked on that cruise and I have been on a HAL ship before for Xmas. Really nice decorations, Santa arrives with his elves, eggnog and cookies. Lots of fun!! Come join us!! There is a fairly active R/C...at least for HAL!! 😉

    Are any food items being passed in the Sky Lounge during Elite HH?...As in the "olden days'?"

    I've always booked the A2s because I like being aft of the aft elevators. Easy to get to the dining venues and not under the pool deck.

    Someone posted about this and I can't find it now...but the instructions were to go through the "Specialty Dining" reservation portal on the website and at the end you could book your dining time for each day. I've tried that and can't seem to find what they were talking about. Any help appreciated!!

    GRBlizz...I'm on that sailing as well and my friend travelling along just upgraded to a suite so I'm interested as well. I've only booked AQ since it was introduced.

    I'm looking at my invoice for a cruise booked with a TA. My travel partner has never been on HAL and she does not have a Mariner # on the invoice. So I take it she should set one up...you don't have to have had at least one sailing to do so?

    We have done many T/As and T/Ps and love them!! I always enjoy the speakers and Trivia as well as reading. Pool time is nice as well. Just super relaxing and the ship really is the destination. But then I could sail around in a circle and be happy!!! 🙂

    Any idea what sodas and juices are included on the Elite HH menu?

    What a great idea!! Do most travel policies allow this level of trip cost coverage or is there a specific one you use?

    We've stayed at the Hotel 1898 a number of times and love it. Again pre Covid but the restaurant right next door was good and not too expensive and there's a Starbucks on the other side for breakfast if you want something light. The rooftop bar has a great view of BCN as well.

    Would love an AZ ship in and out of San Diego..at least for a winter/spring season. MX and HI, Panama Canal transit, Pacific Coastal and then up to Alaska. Or a T/P to end in HI and/or Australia. San Diego is a much easier port to fly into than LA and most people seem to prefer the opportunity to spend time in SD pre or post cruise.
