Might be worth it to spend one night there and then take the 10 AM flight the next day. Personally I wouldn't do it...I doubt you would make it and so stressful!! 😞

Celebrity is having any passengers on a T/A or T/P present a negative test done 2 days prior to boarding. They are not requiring that for any of their other sailings. FYI

I live in SD too and I SO agree!!! Can't understand why Celebrity doesn't use our port instead of LA...so much easier to get to for the passengers!!

Congrats to your Mom..as Jim noted it's one thing to quit and another thing to "stay quit"!! Be sure your Mom knows that there is still a very slight amount of alcohol in the NA brands. The saying in AA is "Non alcoholic brands are for non alcoholics". There are a number of non alcoholic "mocktails" on board that she could try. Elsewhere on the Celebrity board a CC member just posted a very comprehensive list of all the ones she tried with great descriptions. I wrote them all down and I'm taking the list with me in a week on a T/A.

You can really get a lot in there that's for sure...and as mentioned so much better than the plastic bags other lines offer!!

We were there a long time ago but we found when walking around a very nice wine tasting room that had multiple wineries represented. You might check Trip Advisor to see if you can find it or something similar.

We had quite a few players on a R/T to HI from SD back in 2018 and there was this one lady who was great at cards but had never played MJ. She picked it up so fast I couldn't believe it!!! She loved it but there is no where for her to play it in her home town!! 😞

I think the Tea Forte is so much better I stop by on my way to breakfast in Blu to take "one to go" to make my tea in Blu. Such a better flavor IMO.

Pretty amazing that they just made that change...they missed out on all the Celebrity T/As that dropped it as a port of call because of the testing.

Too bad they waited until now to make the change. All the T/As that were to stop there dropped it as a port because of the testing requirement. Lots of people on our R/C not happy with the change..others were as they preferred Lisbon which is what we ended up with.

I can't imagine that you wouldn't be welcomed by players...always nice to have new people interested.

Well that "a day late and a dollar short" that's for sure. At least on Celebrity all of the T/As that were to stop there had the port removed and another port put into place. Lots of lost revenue for Bermuda!!

Good to know the route to the port from your hotel..we had one cab driver take us a VERY long way around.

With the AQ that was double the price could you tell us what class ship this was on? Thank you!
