Thanks so much Hank!! Such helpful info. I was thinking about buying a Geo Blue policy and then using the Chase coverage if needed for trip interruption. I believe the Chase also covers cancellation..is that correct? I don't have any pre-existing conditions. I have a Medicare Advantage Plan and it has some coverage out of the US but only $25,000 which I don't consider nearly enough! Geo Blue covers Covid as a diagnosis and also has some coverage for a return flight and hotel if you ended up in quarantine. I too worked in the medical field and so "know the drill" !! I used Allianz when my DH was still alive because of his ill health and pre-existing conditions and I was pleased with them when I needed to file a claim last year. But that coverage is so much more expensive. Does this sound like a good plan to you? I've seen your posts for years and value your insight! Thank you!

When Blu was first introduced there used to be the "Meusli Man"! He would come with a variety of items on a rolling cart and you could create your very own Meusli. Our German friends we travelled with loved it!! They did away with that sometime ago! 😞

How ironic! We were on the Millie in AQ in '17 in Asia and Blu was terrible. I actually asked to speak to the Hotel Director. We had a meeting with him and he really listened and wrote many things down. It did improve after that.

Thanks for all this info. I already knew some of this but not all..so helpful for my mid October T/A on the Sillie. I'm taking my DH Kenneth along for his final cruise. He was in the USS Navy and also was a Docent on board the USS Midway for 10 years and this is what we had always talked about for him. His Celebration of Life was on board the Midway and the ocean will be his final resting place. We loved cruising so this will just be perfect. Just an FYI re the urn...the initial one I picked was made of salt and VERY heavy...18 lbs for the urn alone. Fortunately one of the staff at the mortuary knew I would be flying with the ashes and suggested one made of cardboard. It has a lovely scene of the sea with a seagull.

You're right...the "suite" prices seem to be a LOT!!! 🙂 Not sure I'm too fond of the "Edge Class"...but to be fair I've not been on one yet. Pretty sure I would not like the Infinity Balcony. Thanks for the info!

We are in AQ but have friends who are not. If we want to join them some night for dinner in the MDR can we arrange that prior to the evening or does it have to be done on the night we want to join them?

So "Aqua Suites" are allowed to eat in Luminae as their regular DR?
