    Bending over backwards wasn’t a problem, but seeing the open drop beneath it gave me pause🤣 I’m petite and thought I’d slip on down the grates! So I closed my eyes and let the assistant guide me to the stone! It’s a long way down!

    In Newport you can take the local trolley $6 that goes to the mansions. You can buy a Duo pass for about $48 that gets you into two mansions. You choose which two. Much less than Princess tour.

    That’s what we wore. More relaxed vibe on Alaskan cruises.

    Check the Louisburg website. They close up most of the exhibits come fall. There aren’t any ‘actors’ around after September.

    We sailed on the Majestic last June in Alaska. Loved her! We are booked on the Caribbean Princess in October for the NYC to Quebec cruise. Can’t wait and it is a group cruise, 20 friends are joining us🛳

    Alaska Shore excursions also has a Juneau Mendenhall lake canoe trip.

    While in Denali, the ATV tour is great fun! In Juneau try the Mendenhall canoe trip.

    We took the small tour bus to get an overview of the island. We then rented bikes and rode to Chappiquiddick bridge.

    We booked Acadia National Park tours, 2.5 hours.

    We signed up for the ‘Classic’ 2.5 hr tour with Acadia National Parks tour.

    We sailed to Alaska last year on Majestic. Loved her! Big, new, all the bells and whistles for our family. We had a port side balcony and we didn’t have any trouble walking around to view the glaciers. I personally liked Hubbard glacier for its immensity. We did the Off the beaten path land tour first then one way Voyage of the glaciers afterward.

    Thank you both for the info. We did ArriveCan back in June after a cruise from Alaska. The app is still on my phone!

    We are on the Caribbean Princess NE/Canada cruise in October. Will we need to complete the ArriveCan?

    I agree that doing the land portion first is preferable. There are the changes in lodging, transportation, so being able to unpack and relax on the ship is so nice.

    There is another trolly company, City tours trolley that has 8 stops and a senior discount.

    We found a cute place called Chateau dePierre near old town Quebec.

    Thank-you. After a second night in Quebec we are taking the train to Montreal and will be there a day before flying home.

    Which is the best part to stay in Montreal? What are some hotels you all recommend? We are going on the Caribbean Princess on October 9 and don't know much about the city of Montreal and what area is the right location for sites to see. Thank-you in advance
